We are seeing some fairly calm conditions as of right now, Berkeley Hills camera looking just fine with a little bit of cloud cover moving overhead. We have seen a few sprinkles this morning. That may be something youve noticed if you stepped outside to take the dog out. Real quick, a little bit of snowfall still remains in the sierra, but north of i80i80 is back reopen. So no worries there. And if youre heading to the snow this week, you got plenty to enjoy it. A few showers to the north and the bay. Today we have our best chance of sprinkles being in the north bay with the rest of generally seeing calmer conditions. Temperatures right now are in the 40s to low 50s right now. But these voters appear to be the minority in contra costa county, according to the assistant registrar, helen nolan out of 700 voters, 127,000 ballots were received by monday afternoon. Thats less than 20 of the total ballots, which leads nolan to predict an overall low turnout. Were expecting coming into this about 45 50 based on previous president ial primaries. But as a turnout right now, it looks like might get 35 . Nolan says theres a decline in voting statewide. She believes many are voting because of the lack of competition between idential nominees. People who did vote on monday expressed disappointment in the low turnout so far, some saying they hope people take the time to do it on super tuesday. Your vote matters right now.
