A big win for former President Trump ahead of super tuesday. U. S. Supreme court made a ruling in colorados republican primary ballot battle. Now the justices decided the republican front runner cannot be removed from the states primary ballot. Our kron fours Catherine Heenan is here with the details on that. Catherine . Yeah, this was a unanimous decision. The court saying that states cannot ban donald trump from running for another term because of the insurrection in rejecting that colorado challenge. The ruling does apply to all states, illinois and maine. Remember trying to get trump removed from their ballots. The Supreme Court says states cannot do that with respect to federal offices, especially the president s 8, some wind blow trump swings going into super tuesday. But the court did not address whether the former president had engaged in insurrection. Weve got reaction from a couple of our political analysts. Joining us here on kron for news at 5. Im noelle bellow day and im grant lotus. The shooting happened after a police chase and a crash. This was shortly after midnight called for us. Rob nesbitt has details now from santa rosa. Flashing blue lights lit up several streets in west santa rosa monday morning. According to the Sonoma County sheriffs office, deputies responded to reports of a man holding a rifle on todd road when they arrived on scene just after midnight. The suspect fled in a vehicle at a pursuit occurred. Gunfire was exchanged between the suspect and police injuring 4 deputies. According to sheriff ed ian groom to have injuries to their hands. And one was shot in the leg and one received a head injury. Our deputy with a head injury is in critical but stable condition after shooting at police. The gunman drove away and crashed his vehicle in stony point road and was pronounced dead at the scene. Timothy dimmick lives by where the crash occurred. It was bad. I woke up to one
