This is dolores park you can see right behind me and how clean it is that should tell you how things went last night as many as 15 to 20,000 people were here this is pretty much the start of it often the distance is Mission High School you can see that tower right behind me they all gathered at this location they heard speeches that actually started by a 17 yearold San Francisco girl she was the organizer behind all this she said that change needs to happen, especially in the Mission District she chose this location because her family. Its from here from this location they marched through the streets of San Francisco went past the Mission Police dartment the mission station that was the original stop that it got a lot of momentum so they actually changed in the midstream when all the way down to the hall of justice where they protested again against Police Brutality against the system that they say is slanted towards African Americans and people of color. But they say this is far from over and a lot of people of course during the march they took to social media, but they say this fight is not on social media, but boots on the ground. Im just tired. I want to support my people as much as possible. I want to see solidarity im tired of the silence, im tired preaching over and over again posting it on instagram and thats to go anywhere we need to be out here we need to be on the front line and do as much as we can. And it is far from over because there could be future protests in the future and that is why mayor london breed this is very tentative that shes please which is why she lifted their curfew we didnt hear of any major damage last night if at all and no major arrests are significant arrests to pass along to you. This has the support of San Franciscos police chief bill scott as well they will meet at 2 oclock this afternoon. The board of supervisors they will have the final approval whether or not the curfew can be lifted for the city and county of San Francisco. But it looks like james and area, everybodys on lock step. And of course you can march through the streets but what are the changes moving forward and a lot of the protesters they say they should focus on now trying to rebuild the African American and other people of color businesses to spend money for those particular locations back to you.
