Hall Mountain Fire burning near US-Canadian border July 2, 2021 5:47 PM Matthew Kincanon Updated: BOUNDARY CO., Idaho — Idaho Fire is responding to the Hall Mountain Fire burning in Boundary County, just one mile from the US/Canadian border. The Bonners Ferry Ranger District of Idaho Panhandle National Forests said the fire was detected at around noon on Friday, and is burning heavily timbered Subalpine Fir and dying Lodgepole Pine. They said five firebosses four large air tankers, three helicopters and an engine with five crew members, among other resources, are responding. The fire is reported to be around 30 acres.
