is live look at the prison where palestinian prisoners are expected to be released in about two hours from now as part of israel wants hostage swap with hamas. we give them -- they give them prisoners, they get back innocent people. meanwhile in israel, officials are preparing -- preparing for -- are preparing for the return of 13 hostages. the first of 50 to be released over the next four days. trey yingst is live at the israeli air base where the exchange is set to take place. take it away, tray. trey. >> good morning, two hours from now that first group of hostages is expected to be released into the hands of the red cross and then they will be flown to this military base in southern israel. they will be evaluated and then ultimately able to call their loved ones. earlier today. they goal to regional medical facilities one of five different hospitals where they will be hospitalized in separate, secluded wards. remember, this first group. consist of 13 people. all women and children. >> the idf has been working to make sure they have blankets and headphones supplies that they will need whether they return safely to israel. they're reportedly from the same area of southern israel. they will being exchanges for 24 palestinian prisoners and 15 male palestinians. it has been seven hours. since that cease-fire went into effect with the exception of two rocket alerts about 15 minutes after the set time it a 15 israelis hostages despite cease-fire. israelis are calling on isn't gaza not to leave the southern part of the strip saw i had you trying to go to the north, israelis fired into that crowd. sources inside gaza say some people were hit in the legs, israelite do not want civilians or militants going into the area controlled by israel. they see it as a threat to their forces. they are trying to maintain defensive positions inside gaza. understanding that this lull in fighting could be extremely dangerous for the forces on the ground. guys, back to you. >> brian: trey, this thing is not over. is israel going to have trouble holding ton that narrative that they need to continue? are they that concerned with the perception outside their borders? >> absolutely. look. hamas is hoping that this temporary cease-fire will be an opportunity to expand this to a larger truce hostages inside gaza after this initial group is released. allow an extension of the cease-fire for 10 additional hostages for a single day? but, still, the fighting will go on after this. the israeli officials, including the prime minister himself, benjamin made very clear that once this cease-fire is over. the israelis will continue to operate against hamas leadership inside gaza. this is something that will take not days, weeks but months. and so this is just four days of a break in the fighting. it will give civilians on both sides of the fence an opportunity to exhale amid this war that is approaching 50 days. but, again, the fighting continues, but the anticipation is growing just two hours from now, people here hoping those hostages will be released to the loved ones. >> without question. trey, we are talking a lot about the israeli hostages. what about the palestinian prisoners, you said 24 women and 15 teenage males do we know anything about them and what crimes they committed? >> we don't know much about them. we know that the israelis had one line item in the agreement indicating anyone convicted of murder could not be released. but attempted murder was not on the list. so, you will likely see prisoners released as part of this deal who attempted stabbings or possibly even shootings. we will bring you those details details on each individual prisoner. israelis 3 to 1 ratio are releasing palestinian prisoners for hostages. the hostages are civilians that were dragged into gaza against their will on october 7th. the prisoners that are being release were convicted of crimes it is largely seen as unfair when you ask average israelis about this deal and there are mixed opinions about this cease-fire. on one hand people are extremely excited. they have hope for the first time in nearly 50 days that the loved ones and the israeli civilians inside gaza will finally be coming home. they also understand there are thousands of israeli troops inside who will be caught flat-footed if hamas or islamic jihad decides to launch airstrike during this fighting. >> joey: there isn't a lot being reported or confirmed just as early as yesterday we were told it was women with children that they had bore in prison now learning a lot of teenagers who were arrested, so that's a little bit different on the teenage side. the younger side hough is being released from prison one point i want to get your take on. israel says they think there are 240 hostages. there about. very vague how many hostages exactly how many there are. we found out last week about a young girl that they thought was a hostage that was found dead. i do know that israel released a list of names do you know if they negotiated will. >> trey: israelis have been demanding that the red cross be able to visit the other hostages inside gaza. hamas has pushed back on this point. it's likely for one major reason, hamas doesn't want israeli to know how many of the hostages are alive. we talk about this 240 number and the tragic reality is that 240 israelis will not ever come home. some of them are dead. some of them were dragged into gaza. some of them burned alive in their homes and haven't been recovered. that's how graphic and tragic the initial attack on southern israel was. hamas is trying to play also a psychologic game here with israel they trickle thought information and drag on the investigation. it is important here the qataris negotiated this agreement. they are hopeful that this could lead to something large tore get more hostages out. we have been talking with the officials on the ground in doha and they are indicating that right now the talks are largely seen as positive. when you compare to what it was like weeks ago in the height of this conflict before the cease-fire took place this morning. so the coming days will be unpredictable. this is incredibly fragile agreement. we have to understand that hamas and islamic jihad will use this opportunity to reconsolidate their forces and try to move their fighters into positions so knowing that the israelis will push deeper into gaza, but, again, the focus here today at this military base and across israel is that hope hermine are holding on to. they want to see 13 hostages released. women and children and they hope this is just the beginning. >> in interview hamas' senior leader comes out and says these aren't hostages. they are guests. and it's impossible for us to hurt our gusts. hamas to hurt our guests. does anyone believe crap like this? >> he was texting me earlier today. and weigh spoke with that hamas official a number of times. i interviewed him in person in gaza city. the reality is we have to look at the facts here and there is a lot of misinformation. there is a lot of parallel attempts by hamas and islamic jihad to spin this story to their narrative the fact the matter is you will likely see in the coming hours and days video released by the groups inside gaza of these hostages. they will be giving them things like biscuits and water just like they did when the first were released. a few weeks ago. they are not treating these hostages as guested. they dragged them gunpoint into gaza after slaughtering their family members in beds and kitchens. we brought you images of the bodies in these small communities. quiet pro-peace communities. some of the people that were killed were peace activists who were working with gaza civilians to get them medical attention just before this massacre took place you are going to have a lot of spin by islamic jihad convicted of crimes 3 to 1 rainio hostages, civilians, women and children who were not soldiers, not people who were harmed, they were innocent and at home when this massacre took place. >> carley: so well said. trey yingst live for us. we appreciate your reporting and analysis. >> thank you so much. >> thanks, trey. brian, i there it was you who spoke to liran berman. if your two, 26-year-old healthy men you are probably going to be the last to be released. hills brother realizes that let's take a listen. >> it's a bag of mixed emotions right now. mostly depressed and sad but with some kind of hope for their release young kids and elderly. special the 13 released today. it's a nightmare situation. we don't know -- my brother [inaudible] will selection process, i don't know how to call it. [inaudible] we don't know their health now. but, they are not mothers, they're not little kids, they are not elderly. so keep on waiting. >> carley: that is so sad. of course, their lives matter, too. we have spoken to so many families of. you see the missing person's posters all over new york city as well. hearing who these people are grings a different element to this. speaking to one woman who has the two redheaded little boys, one is 10 months old. >> one is # years old. the woman i spoke to. her nephews and she was saying that the little -- beautiful little boys. he likes spiderman and he likes anything with wheels. he likes trucks and just, you know, these stories humanize the situation in a way that these pictures don't. those images are important for 13 families, this nightmare will be over. with you for 200 plus it still goes on. subhumans that inflicted this pain. this is all different level of depravity that we thought we left in medieval times. we haven't. people in america and around the world who think the palestinian, hamas movement is something they should glue themselves to the road to support. >> speaking of around the world if we brought them back home and talk about own safety and security. our border one of the biggest topics for every american, not just democrats and republicans, not just texans but also people in the north, people in new york city who have had a flood of migrants. and now we are learning that joe biden who once embraced eric adams the two are not getting along anymore. there was a political article entitled. joe biden wants to embrace eric adams expect that any time soon. how they characterize relationship. icy relationship emerging amid adams criticism of the president's handling of the migrant crisis have evolved into a deep freeze with the new york mayor now embroiled in a federal investigation over whether his campaign colluded with foreign interest. but, this absolutely has to do with the fact that eric adams is speaking out about border issues when president biden was in new york city, eric adams requested a meeting with him and that meeting was denied. >> brian: by the way, it should be -- eric adams should be mad at the president. should not be vice is a versa. president's irresponsible way of not handling the border issues, has caused the sanctuary city in new york. which should never be, and the right to shelter which should never be in place has been overwhelmed with over 130,000. it's estimated 85,000 are still here. they are coming at 2,000 a week. and this is a little that was happening outside the hotels staying for free, getting three meals a day. getting their laundry done and getting their sheets changed. all at our expense to the point you got cut back they have chosen to cut back cops, cut down library hours. cut back fdny. cut back educational services because we are doing all this for free because of president biden's irresponsible lack of border policy. and is destroying one of his -- the city that one of his greatest supporters runs. why is he mad at eric adams for speaking up -- speaking and saying what everybody knows. he should actually be more direct. >> joey: this goes back to what we talked about in the beginning of the show about this idea that the biden administration puts out talking points for thanksgiving that says trump didn't shut down the border. trump didn't make the border any better. all he did was put families in cages. i don't remember a couple years ago new york being at odds with anyone in -- with any of the leading democrats over what should be done about the border. but here we are with democratically -- democratic mayor in new york and a democrat president in the white house. and for some reason they can't get on the same page, if it's all about ideology, and how bad trump was, then why do we have this problem in new york right now? >> carley: i don't know how you sleep at night if you are president biden or secretary alejandro mayorkas with a wide open border during a heightened terror alert because of what going on in israel with hamas, and knowing that you can change it, politics comes into play here big time but if you are the president of the united states, national security is your top priority. >> brian: by the way, people say why is donald trump winning? why is donald trump winning? because the issues he ran on in 2016 more apropos today. saw the way he handled it compared to the way president biden is handling it and a lot of independents, a lot of undecideds are saying i like the old way. and maybe should push judges to do what trump wanted. that's get rid of the sanctuary city status. declared unconstitutional. meanwhile the other thing we are talking about is shopping, it's a verb, it's an action. it's really a cottage industry. shoppers are gearing up to race to stores today to catch those black friday steals and deals ahead of the holidays. >> joey: gerri willis fox business alive at the american dream mall in east rutherford, new jersey, what's going on? they have done that because at the end of the day they are going to reduce hostages to preserve their regime and preserve as much of their fighters and military infrastructure as possible. if they are able to achieve that, that will be a strategic defeat for israel. despite all the physical destruction you see in northern gaza and what will eventually take place. much of the war that israel is fighting is a head of them hamas has delayed, not defended in northern gaza. most of their leaders and troops are now moved to the south. and certainly the cease-fires play to their advantage as well. they don't want to get anybody confused here. getting the hostage out is a primary mission for the israeli government and for our government as well and should always remain so. but it does have its impact. on the israelis military campaign to be sure. we estimate of the 25,000 hamas fighters that they have they probably have somewhere a little south of 20,000 still left because they are doing everything they can to preserve that force, so there is much ahead for the israelis if the mission will stay the same which i think it should to dismantle the hamas terrorist and military network and change the government. >> they are moving south. that's one thing that is pretty clear. they made it known they are going to start moving south and they have. to say from what can you ascertain, general, is there is a way for hamas to get replenished, rearmed, to sneak out to get out of the country?
