Police officer. Six months later, capitol police say the agency is changing to adapt to the threat landscape. They purchased new equipment, offer new training and share intelligence with officers, something absent before rioters attacked the capitol. But officers tell cnn day re worried the changes amount to marginal differences and feel they re no better prepared today than early january. Since the insurrection, at least 75 officers have resigned. Providing security is done by people. Those officers have to be rested, trained, sharp with good information and wellled.
