fascinating, hannity, as always very. >> i appreciate you as always, laura. >> laura: this is "the ingraham angle" from washington tonight. we're going to get right to a. he goes low and we go hi. that's the focus of tonight's angle. when we were kids, we all playe that game hot potato. someone throws you the ball, an you have to get rid of it as fast as possible. the last one holding the ball loses. it's funny to watch kids play i may be third or second grade during recess, but it's patheti to watch an american president play the grown-up equivalent. i call it when ask tough questions, throw the question t the other guy. get this afternoon mitch mc connell said the midterm elections are going to be a report card. how do you think that report card looks right now. >> i think the fundamental question is what is mitch for, what are they for? what would be the republican platform right now? what do you think? i honest to god don't know what therefore? >> honest to god, is this the game he wants to play? what is square scary that some staffer who's getting paid tax dollars to work every week thought wow, this line will sho america that joe is really on top of his game. republicans most support here are trump pre- pandemic policies . why is trump still talking abou them? they delivered record unemployment, rising wages, a tight order, better trade deals stronger optimism and joe knows all of this. his rhetorical question about the gop was just another exercise in deflection and distraction. but none of this is landing wit the voters. two new polls out just today tell the bleak story for joe biden, his approval rating has dropped ten points since april in the new nbc survey, and the ap tracks closely with just 43 percent approval. what should be most alarming to the dnc and biden is a staggering 70 percent of americans said they did not wan biden to run for reelection. contrast this to how things are booming for republican governors . they are gaining population and most states for a reason, peopl like the policies. the policies of lower taxes, lower crime rates, freedom from stupid covid rules, and keeping kids in school. this isn't rocket science, it's common sense. >> we must maintain a robust la enforcement presence and properly fund the police. >> i will continue to oppose president biden's mandate for that puts this money back in th pockets of the people. >> we reject the notion that parents shouldn't have a say an what their kids are learning in school. >> we are focused on expanding opportunities not regulating it away. >> the four states with the lowest unemployment rates, our all led by republican governor and they also had gop -controlled legislature spread the four states with the highes unemployment rate are all led, you guessed guested by democrats . now back in the early summer of 2020, the angle predicted that states that drag their feet on reopening that refused to reope quickly and prolong the lockdow would fall behind. and end up inflicting terrible damage on the people. we were right. sadly, the blue states are struggling to revive their economies and also even to get their schools back on track. it could be years before any of them get back to normal if they ever get back to normal. as we look back on the past two years, we should never forget how journalists failed in their proper roles to question the proclaimed orthodoxy of the lockdown is. rather than questioning come of those who were so quick to rob us are far freedom, they jumped into bed with them. meanwhile prominent media figures launched relentless attacks on pupils like. >> governor trying to rewrite the history of covid in her state estate with one of the te worst mortality rates for it. >> addressing a large mass like crowd at a republican crowd outside dallas. it comes with a surge in covid cases. >> he is doing everything he ca to help the virus spread. >> don't even know who that person is. democrats and the press pals only had insults and censorship of critics to fall back on her doctors have found success with therapeutics reveal an iced, governors who question school closures were menaces to public health. politicians who didn't want to ditch the filibuster, they are racist. people within a thousand yards of the capital on january 6 our insurrectionist. what we see is a far left carousel of thought accusation and it's all breaking down. the democratics cling to these hollow tactics because it's all they have ferried there are no successes to crow about, only disappointment, high prices, an empty shelves. on foreign policy, the white house just stumbles from one crisis to the next. it's embarrassing. at this point the nation is jus eager to return to some semblance of clarity and pragmatism. they know that trump conservatives in office while not perfect, are far better at avoiding economic turmoil and foreign wars. first and foremost, they stand for america. democrats seem eager for a radical change away from the american system of government, 21 that supports a new international order. most of us know by now that tha is a recipe for less prosperity and much freedom for the averag person. do you know what we say that? no thanks. so if you go below, we are goin to go hi, and that is the angle. to enemy now is former speaker of the house newt gingrich and fox news contributor. new to, it's great to see you tonight. it's been reported that you are working with some members of th gop on what is perhaps a new contract with america. can you tell us about it. >> first of all i want to say everything you just said was powerful and accurate in one of the best openings i've ever see you give, so i want to commend you for that. we are at the historic turning point. biden set us up for an easy victory parade he said i don't know what they stand for. kevin mccarthy this morning, the next speaker of the house promptly issued a list of thing we stand for. i am working a lot of different people including kevin on what we could do, there is a huge potential for a republican contract for share come up much like we had in 94. i've not pretended favor one in the recent past, but i think this is the year. here are ten big things we will do. this is what you can count on. frankly, a number of them can b done to matter what biden does. you can design it in a way that has a huge impact. i think we have to run a positive alternative freight it's not enough to be anti- biden, that's why my most recen book was called beyond biden. i think the country is worried. the biggest thing i would bring to bear, particularly after thi last press conference by president biden, it's it's not just political, its historic. we have the weakest president i modern times who ultimately sai it was okay for the russians to take a piece of ukraine and the to spend the next 24 hours backtracking. he tells lies in what i think i troubling is and he may actuall believe his own lies. he may live in a world where he makes things up and then he believes whatever he makes up. i think we as republicans have an obligation not just to reach out to our base, but to broaden the base dramatically by offering solutions. you just showed up picture of glen young can come at the new governor of virginia who does a great job of reaching out to independents, democrats, minorities, to creating a visio of a better, virginia that brings people together. all those governors you showed two great jobs, same thing. they are positive and solution oriented. as a result, the governors are doing pretty darn well. >> it's a hopeful message and i think people are desperate. obama was all about hope and change, it was a new beginning and it was a brighter day in america, but they kind of ditched all that. now it's all about america, the racist founders, the racist documents, it is so dark and it's so dour. i think people are like i love this country. we are incredibly blessed to live here. to that point, at the end of th town hall tonight, biden found new deflection tactic for his many failures. watch. >> president biden: i used to get asked a question if you say something in a campaign, it's a promise. you need to get it done. we have basically 50 presidents in the united states and that. >> laura: i never heard of president of the united states he we have 50 presidents in the senate ever. >> i thought biden did a remarkable job yesterday for talking almost two hours and a lot of what he said was baloney but nonetheless he seemed prett coherent. tonight you saw a return to the biden that is frightening. if you have a president who is cognitively confused on a regular basis, who refers to kamala harris as president harris and who is you just pointed out referred tonight at the presidents in the senate. again and again, you have to wonder how weak as he in terms of his grip on reality and how dangerous. our system has a commander-in-chief as president. we require somebody who is strong, coherent, capable, you can like or dislike it donald trump, but he was a strong person, he knew what he was saying, he was not confused about whether or not senators were presidents. when i watched biden, my fear frankly is not political, it's historic. he could potentially get us in the kind of trouble that would shatter the next 20 or 30 years. i think that is really sobering. >> laura: we are heartened by your involvement with what migh be a new blueprint for the conservative movement going forward and all the successes w can already point to. thank you. good to hear tonight. joining me the senior editor of the serverless. cofounder and president of realtor and politics. , i mentioned in the angle, but how alarming is it that biden has only 48 percent of democrat who want him to run again in 2024, and a lot of those are just being polite, let's face it . >> the numbers are pretty grim. it's hard for the administratio to spend them in a positive way. at think the most alarming numbers for joe biden right now his approval rating is down, it's a new low under 41 percent. and it's been trending down. the most frightening numbers should be that he's under 30 percent, 25 percent in one pole with independent and has support among hispanic voters i less than 30 percent for those of the kind of numbers that lea to wipe out midterm wipeout's, invite needs to interject his base, but he can't do it at the of alienating moderates, independents and other minority voters. >> speaking at the white house for chief of staff trade went out today. >> the president is right in th middle of where the country is great you look at what's in our build back better plan. that's an all-american mainstream proposal. republicans are opposing for. we're trying to find the fastes way to pass it because american need this help. >> laura: federal lysing elections is moderate apparently . >> this administration keeps asking as if claiming to be moderate is the same thing as actually being moderate. it's true that the democratic party is almost entirely behind biden when it comes to the hous supporting what he wants and th senate almost everybody is supporting what he wants, but s is in the mainstream of the democrat party, but those horrible numbers you're seeing in terms of what people think about how he's handling everything from the economy to covid to foreign-policy show he's not in the mainstream of where most americans are. no matter how much media, corporate media types claim he is moderate or claim he's a uniter, the reality is the country no longer believes that at all. >> laura: , i have to touch on kamala harris because i think they are in a real pickle with her great i think they had some great hopes that she would be really persuasive and powerful. the more they sent her outcome of the more trouble she seems t be for them. this is for democrats, this is from the off the record democrats comments and other news sources. they started to, they don't reintroduce her into the public in recent days, and this was he appearance this morning on nbc. >> is he really concerned we might not have fair and free elections? >> the president has been consistent on this issue, and the issue at hand that there ar to bills that have been the solution that has been offered to address the fact that around our country, states have put in place laws that are purposely making it more difficult for th american people to vote. >> is this working, tom? already spinning the next election which they know they'r going to lose badly as essentially illegitimate, and again so will of the voters which are claiming on trumped i in the election hasn't even happened yet. >> it's rich with irony and hypocrisy. kamala harris is not a good politician. this is not surprising this cam out in the campaign where she had to drop out before the firs vote was even taken for the ide that she would somehow generate the political chops to be a vic president that could handle tha media scrutiny she's getting an the kind of issues that have been put on her plate, just wasn't going to happen. she finds herself in a difficul spot trying to reboot her image great it hasn't worked. it certainly is a problem withi the democratic party, especiall as they look to you might be th leader of the party beyond joe biden. >> a young congressman on the floor after the filibuster went down in flames, his name was congressman montero jones. his comments about the opposition to doing away with the filibuster were quite stunning. watch. >> yesterday, on the senate floor, white nationalists use the jim crow filibuster to bloc voting rights justly should. >> laura: they went from calling them greedy in the 80s to dysfunctional in the '90s and now it's just white nationalists. >> they are saying if you have any regard for the security or integrity of elections, that yo are racist. obviously this message isn't working because the vast vast majority of the country wants basic security provisions like having voter id, and no matter how much they use these, it's awkward to change the fact that we need to be able to trust our elections in order to have a country going forward. in general, this trying to incite racial hatred in order t achieve political goals is having less of a good effect fo democrats than it had in previous decades. it's just not working as the republican party become so much more multiracial, working-class it just doesn't work. >> i have more on the race game coming up in the next segment. molly and tom, great to see bot of you tonight. one at the most alarming aspect of yesterday's was that of russia from the dc press corps and why do they seem so intent on making biden a wartime presidents. glenn greenwald has some thoughts on that. stay right there. it's been nearly two years since the pandemic started. our students and teachers tried their best, but as a parent, i can tell you that nearly 18 months of remote learning was really hard. i'm so angry that instead of helping our kids get back in the classroom, the school board focused on renaming schools schools that weren't even open . please recall all three school board members now. for the sake of our kids, we can't wait one more day, never mind a whole year for a fresh start. ♪ >> i have a number of ukraine 23 times. now compare that to china that only got about seven mentions freight immigration got to, neither of which were actually in a question and crime was mentioned zero times. so given this obsession over potential conflict in you can't ukraine, could it be so much to that the dc media wants joe biden to become a wartime president. given the president bizarre of an incursion from russia would be wrong for us to sue assume. here is independent journalist lynn greenwald fred glenn, nice to see you tonight. tonight the members of congress from both parties are telling fox that they believe russia is likely to invade ukraine and i do get the sense that the dc beltway inside the beltway crow is desperate for another u.s. military engagement what are your thoughts? >> i think there is often the assumption that the media is leftist or a liberal bull and maybe they are, but when it comes to war, they are consistently on the side of military zoned imperialism and more conflict going all the way back to 2003 when they like nothing about george bush ordered cheney, but the york times and we're behind the invasion of iraq freight they like the nato involvement in libya. they were angry at biden for withdrawing from afghanistan. obviously its big ratings and they get to be really important but i think it's ideological. these spend all their time speaking to the cia and the pentagon they love this liberal internationalism. obviously going to war over ukraine even a by proxy war won't do anything for the american people, the american worker, but it elevates the u.s on this global stage. i think that's the ideology of the american media. >> laura: i was one of those lured into the naïve ideas abou iraq and even nationbuilding an ice on only finally saw the light, but your favorite was on cnn talking about ukraine tonight, and i thought made a very strange comparison. >> they have the saddam invasio of kuwait, at the time, there was an issue, did we fascinating, hannity, as always very. >> i appreciate you as always, laura. >> laura: this is "the ingraham angle" from washington tonight. we're going to get right to a. he goes low and we go hi. that's the focus of tonight's angle. when we were kids, we all playe that game hot potato. someone throws you the ball, an you have to get rid of it as fast as possible. the last one holding the ball loses. it's funny to watch kids play i may be third or second grade during recess, but it's patheti to watch an american president play the grown-up equivalent. i call it when ask tough questions, throw the question t the other guy. get this afternoon mitch mc connell said the midterm elections are going to be a report card. how do you think that report card looks right now. >> i think the fundamental question is what is mitch for, what are they for? what would be the republican platform right now? what do you think? i honest to god don't know what therefore? >> honest to god, is this the game he wants to play? what is square scary that some staffer who's getting paid tax dollars to work every week thought wow, this line will sho america that joe is really on top of his game. republicans most support here are trump pre- pandemic policies . why is trump still talking abou them? they delivered record unemployment, rising wages, a tight order, better trade deals stronger optimism and joe knows all of this. his rhetorical question about the gop was just another exercise in deflection and distraction. but none of this is landing wit the voters. two new polls out just today tell the bleak story for joe biden, his approval rating has dropped ten points since april in the new nbc survey, and the ap tracks closely with just 43 percent approval. what should be most alarming to the dnc and biden is a staggering 70 percent of americans said they did not wan biden to run for reelection. contrast this to how things are booming for republican governors . they are gaining population and most states for a reason, peopl like the policies. the policies of lower taxes, lower crime rates, freedom from stupid covid rules, and keeping kids in school. this isn't rocket science, it's common sense. >> we must maintain a robust la enforcement presence and properly fund the police. >> i will continue to oppose president biden's mandate for that puts this money back in th pockets of the people. >> we reject the notion that parents shouldn't have a say an what their kids are learning in school. >> we are focused on expanding opportunities not regulating it away. >> the four states with the lowest unemployment rates, our all led by republican governor and they also had gop -controlled legislature spread the four states with the highes unemployment rate are all led, you guessed guested by democrats . now back in the early summer of 2020, the angle predicted that states that drag their feet on reopening that refused to reope quickly and prolong the lockdow would fall behind. and end up inflicting terrible damage on the people. we were right. sadly, the blue states are struggling to revive their economies and also even to get their schools back on track. it could be years before any of them get back to normal if they ever get back to normal. as we look back on the past two years, we should never forget how journalists failed in their proper roles to question the proclaimed orthodoxy of the lockdown is. rather than questioning come of those who were so quick to rob us are far freedom, they jumped into bed with them. meanwhile prominent media figures launched relentless attacks on pupils like. >> governor trying to rewrite the history of covid in her state estate with one of the te worst mortality rates for it. >> addressing a large mass like crowd at a republican crowd outside dallas. it comes with a surge in covid cases. >> he is doing everything he ca to help the virus spread. >> don't even know who that person is. democrats and the press pals only had insults and censorship of critics to fall back on her doctors have found success with therapeutics reveal an iced, governors who question school closures were menaces to public health. politicians who didn't want to ditch the filibuster, they are racist. people within a thousand yards of the capital on january 6 our insurrectionist. what we see is a far left carousel of thought accusation and it's all breaking down. the democratics cling to these hollow tactics because it's all they have ferried there are no successes to crow about, only disappointment, high prices, an empty shelves. on foreign policy, the white house just stumbles from one crisis to the next. it's embarrassing. at this point the nation is jus eager to return to some semblance of clarity and pragmatism. they know that trump conservatives in office while not perfect, are far better at avoiding economic turmoil and foreign wars. first and foremost, they stand for america. democrats seem eager for a radical change away from the american system of government, 21 that supports a new international order. most of us know by now that tha is a recipe for less prosperity and much freedom for the averag person. do you know what we say that? no thanks. so if you go below, we are goin to go hi, and that is the angle. to enemy now is former speaker of the house newt gingrich and fox news contributor. new to, it's great to see you tonight. it's been reported that you are working with some members of th gop on what is perhaps a new contract with america. can you tell us about it. >> first of all i want to say everything you just said was powerful and accurate in one of the best openings i've ever see you give, so i want to commend you for that. we are at the historic turning point. biden set us up for an easy victory parade he said i don't know what they stand for. kevin mccarthy this morning, the next speaker of the house promptly issued a list of thing we stand for. i am working a lot of different people including kevin on what we could do, there is a huge potential for a republican contract for share come up much like we had in 94. i've not pretended favor one in the recent past, but i think this is the year. here are ten big things we will do. this is what you can count on. frankly, a number of them can b done to matter what biden does. you can design it in a way that has a huge impact. i think we have to run a positive alternative freight it's not enough to be anti- biden, that's why my most recen book was called beyond biden. i think the country is worried. the biggest thing i would bring to bear, particularly after thi last press conference by president biden, it's it's not just political, its historic. we have the weakest president i modern times who ultimately sai it was okay for the russians to take a piece of ukraine and the to spend the next 24 hours backtracking. he tells lies in what i think i troubling is and he may actuall believe his own lies. he may live in a world where he makes things up and then he believes whatever he makes up. i think we as republicans have an obligation not just to reach out to our base, but to broaden the base dramatically by offering solutions. you just showed up picture of glen young can come at the new governor of virginia who does a great job of reaching out to independents, democrats, minorities, to creating a visio of a better, virginia that brings people together. all those governors you showed two great jobs, same thing. they are positive and solution oriented. as a result, the governors are doing pretty darn well. >> it's a hopeful message and i think people are desperate. obama was all about hope and change, it was a new beginning and it was a brighter day in america, but they kind of ditched all that. now it's all about america, the racist founders, the racist documents, it is so dark and it's so dour. i think people are like i love this country. we are incredibly blessed to live here. to that point, at the end of th town hall tonight, biden found new deflection tactic for his many failures. watch. >> president biden: i used to get asked a question if you say something in a campaign, it's a promise. you need to get it done. we have basically 50 presidents in the united states and that. >> laura: i never heard of president of the united states he we have 50 presidents in the senate ever. >> i thought biden did a remarkable job yesterday for talking almost two hours and a lot of what he said was baloney but nonetheless he seemed prett coherent. tonight you saw a return to the biden that is frightening. if you have a president who is cognitively confused on a regular basis, who refers to kamala harris as president harris and who is you just pointed out referred tonight at the presidents in the senate. again and again, you have to wonder how weak as he in terms of his grip on reality and how dangerous. our system has a commander-in-chief as president. we require somebody who is strong, coherent, capable, you can like or dislike it donald trump, but he was a strong person, he knew what he was saying, he was not confused about whether or not senators were presidents. when i watched biden, my fear frankly is not political, it's historic. he could potentially get us in the kind of trouble that would shatter the next 20 or 30 years. i think that is really sobering. >> laura: we are heartened by your involvement with what migh be a new blueprint for the conservative movement going forward and all the successes w can already point to. thank you. good to hear tonight. joining me the senior editor of the serverless. cofounder and president of realtor and politics. , i mentioned in the angle, but how alarming is it that biden has only 48 percent of democrat who want him to run again in 2024, and a lot of those are just being polite, let's face it . >> the numbers are pretty grim. it's hard for the administratio to spend them in a positive way. at think the most alarming numbers for joe biden right now his approval rating is down, it's a new low under 41 percent. and it's been trending down. the most frightening numbers should be that he's under 30 percent, 25 percent in one pole with independent and has support among hispanic voters i less than 30 percent for those of the kind of numbers that lea to wipe out midterm wipeout's, invite needs to interject his base, but he can't do it at the of alienating moderates, independents and other minority voters. >> speaking at the white house for chief of staff trade went out today. >> the president is right in th middle of where the country is great you look at what's in our build back better plan. that's an all-american mainstream proposal. republicans are opposing for. we're trying to find the fastes way to pass it because american need this help. >> laura: federal lysing elections is moderate apparently . >> this administration keeps asking as if claiming to be moderate is the same thing as actually being moderate. it's true that the democratic party is almost entirely behind biden when it comes to the hous supporting what he wants and th senate almost everybody is supporting what he wants, but s is in the mainstream of the democrat party, but those horrible numbers you're seeing in terms of what people think about how he's handling everything from the economy to covid to foreign-policy show he's not in the mainstream of where most americans are. no matter how much media, corporate media types claim he is moderate or claim he's a uniter, the reality is the country no longer believes that at all. >> laura: , i have to touch on kamala harris because i think they are in a real pickle with her great i think they had some great hopes that she would be really persuasive and powerful. the more they sent her outcome of the more trouble she seems t be for them. this is for democrats, this is from the off the record democrats comments and other news sources. they started to, they don't reintroduce her into the public in recent days, and this was he appearance this morning on nbc. >> is he really concerned we might not have fair and free elections? >> the president has been consistent on this issue, and the issue at hand that there ar to bills that have been the solution that has been offered to address the fact that around our country, states have put in place laws that are purposely making it more difficult for th american people to vote. >> is this working, tom? already spinning the next election which they know they'r going to lose badly as essentially illegitimate, and again so will of the voters which are claiming on trumped i in the election hasn't even happened yet. >> it's rich with irony and hypocrisy. kamala harris is not a good politician. this is not surprising this cam out in the campaign where she had to drop out before the firs vote was even taken for the ide that she would somehow generate the political chops to be a vic president that could handle tha media scrutiny she's getting an the kind of issues that have been put on her plate, just wasn't going to happen. she finds herself in a difficul spot trying to reboot her image great it hasn't worked. it certainly is a problem withi the democratic party, especiall as they look to you might be th leader of the party beyond joe biden. >> a young congressman on the floor after the filibuster went down in flames, his name was congressman montero jones. his comments about the opposition to doing away with the filibuster were quite stunning. watch. >> yesterday, on the senate floor, white nationalists use the jim crow filibuster to bloc voting rights justly should. >> laura: they went from calling them greedy in the 80s to dysfunctional in the '90s and now it's just white nationalists. >> they are saying if you have any regard for the security or integrity of elections, that yo are racist. obviously this message isn't working because the vast vast majority of the country wants basic security provisions like having voter id, and no matter how much they use these, it's awkward to change the fact that we need to be able to trust our elections in order to have a country going forward. in general, this trying to incite racial hatred in order t achieve political goals is having less of a good effect fo democrats than it had in previous decades. it's just not working as the republican party become so much more multiracial, working-class it just doesn't work. >> i have more on the race game coming up in the next segment. molly and tom, great to see bot of you tonight. one at the most alarming aspect of yesterday's was that of russia from the dc press corps and why do they seem so intent on making biden a wartime presidents. glenn greenwald has some thoughts on that. stay right there. it's been nearly two years since the pandemic started. our students and teachers tried their best, but as a parent, i can tell you that nearly 18 months of remote learning was really hard. i'm so angry that instead of helping our kids get back in the classroom, the school board focused on renaming schools schools that weren't even open . please recall all three school board members now. for the sake of our kids, we can't wait one more day, never mind a whole year for a fresh start. ♪ >> i have a number of domestic policy issues but of russia ver quickly. >> on the ukraine. ukraine built its four member countries. i wanted to follow-up on your answer there about russia and ukraine. >> haven't they lost nearly all of its leverage over vladimir putin, and given how ineffectiv sanctions have been in determining in the past. >> during yesterday's press conference, russia was mentione 34 times, and the ukraine 23 times. now compare that to china that only got about seven mentions freight immigration got to, neither of which were actually in a question and crime was mentioned zero times. so given this obsession over potential conflict in you can't ukraine, could it be so much to that the dc media wants joe biden to become a wartime president. given the president bizarre of an incursion from russia would be wrong for us to sue assume. here is independent journalist lynn greenwald fred glenn, nice to see you tonight. tonight the members of congress from both parties are telling fox that they believe russia is likely to invade ukraine and i do get the sense that the dc beltway inside the beltway crow is desperate for another u.s. military engagement what are your thoughts? >> i think there is often the assumption that the media is leftist or a liberal bull and maybe they are, but when it comes to war, they are consistently on the side of military zoned imperialism and more conflict going all the way back to 2003 when they like nothing about george bush ordered cheney, but the york times and we're behind the invasion of iraq freight they like the nato involvement in libya. they were angry at biden for withdrawing from afghanistan. obviously its big ratings and they get to be really important but i think it's ideological. these spend all their time speaking to the cia and the pentagon they love this liberal internationalism. obviously going to war over ukraine even a by proxy war won't do anything for the american people, the american worker, but it elevates the u.s on this global stage. i think that's the ideology of the american media. >> laura: i was one of those lured into the naïve ideas abou iraq and even nationbuilding an ice on only finally saw the light, but your favorite was on cnn talking about ukraine tonight, and i thought made a very strange comparison. >> they have the saddam invasio of kuwait, at the time, there was an issue, did we make all the did we encourage him. and then, saddam went in, and l and behold, america got its act together. we can be slow and messy and knuckle headed, but. >> what is america getting its act together mean here? what does that mean and and military conflict with the former soviet union. >> we just had the debate over the first gulf war, the obvious interest the u.s. had inchoate in kuwait was that that is a region filled with oil on which we were dependent. what is the u.s. interest in ukraine? why do americans care at least enough to spend huge sums of money unlimited money in order to go to war with russia or eve by proxy defend the boundaries of ukraine. all of these neocons who used t be with george bush and cheney during war are now at the democratic party on msnbc, all of those people, they are still doing the same thing which is cheering every war. tom freeman being one of those. they went to the democratic party because they know that's where the war lies in this comparison, the question every american should be asking is wh do i care about the borders of ukraine enough to risk american treasure when we have so many problems at home. >> i think if you did a nationa poll, it would be like 1 percen if that's. that actually wanted to spend american treasure and potentially lives in ukraine is much as i love the ukrainian people, now i want to get to something you wrote today. you said congress january 6 committee plotted with j.p. morgan and it's lawyers to obtain as citizens financial records with no possibility of glenn, what is that all about? what do we need to know? >> i think the incredibly abusive behavior of the congressional committee is getting woefully inadequate attention. they are having really radical series that say there is no limits on their own power, they targeted private citizen someon who never worked for the government, they wanted to get his bank records. they went to j.p. morgan chase, usually the bank has to notify focused on renaming schools and playing politics. and they've even saddled our district with a $125 million deficit. our children can't wait for new leadership. here's our chance for a fresh start. on february 15th, please recall school board members collins, lópez and moliga before our kids fall even further behind. >> the latest in our college covid war series, this from the once sensible university of chicago which instituted a campuswide vaccine mandate last summer a december e-mail from the university's provost to students and staff brag that 98 percent of employees and 97 percent of students are compliant with the school vaccination requirements. like many other schools, the university of chicago participates in the covid theater of regular testing for the unvaccinated in universal mask wearing. it actually gets worse. they also joined the ignorant heard by announcing a booster requirement as well. we know that work so well against omicron. the deadline is january 31st. but we're sure most of the students and staff will blindly comply despite the evasion of vaccines and boosters, one student, and unvaccinated football player has stood his ground. he was initially granted to vaccine exemption, but suddenly the university of chicago has told them they will no longer recognize a. here is the truly disturbing part, that student says the school forced him to move into single room last fall because h hadn't gotten the jab. when he didn't immediately do s this happened. i was awakened by three housing officials pounding on my dorm door and screaming my name. i open the door in each of the three. me in turn firstly being in an unauthorized bed. that's when he realized he was being surveilled by the school. he called the tactics authoritarian and has a warning tonight to students and parents across america we welcome university of chicago sophomore arthur long. arthur, good to see you tonight. you already had covid i believe and you are a positive for the cells and the school did grant you an exemption last summer, s what the heck changed? >> thank you for having me on tonight. that's correct, i received a medical exemption in june of last year, and then when i showed up to football camp in august, i was rudely awakened b three university officials who banged on my door and said that i was sleeping and an unauthorized bed and forced me to move to a single which is what all unvaccinated kids need to do now at the u of chicago. this was the first of three shocking events that happened t me during midterms i received a unsigned e-mail from student wellness saying that i was not in compliance with the universities mandates and that it told me that my wi-fi access to university buildings, and my dorm room where i sleep were about to be terminated and thinned during final exams, i received an e-mail from the director of student wellness saying yet again that i was not in compliance with the mandate he cited a bunch of anonymous experts and no facts and tried to override the advice of my ow personal physician. >> arthur, i can't believe this because all i ever hear about the university of chicago it such a wonderful place, great professors, incredible institution of higher learning. this sounds going back to augus for a second, when the school officials pounded on your door, what happens, one of your friends heard what they were saying and the hallway? >> es, so after this happens, one of my teammates came up to me and he overheard them in the hall chuckling to themselves in saying let's get this unvaccinated kid. >> what is next for you? is there a january 31st deadline , that booster deadline that now all the students have to comply that with even though it doesn't work against omicron? so they have to comply, where does that leave you? school begins again for the semester on monday i understand. >> that is correct, we resume i person classes next monday, but the thing is i'm not going to get the vaccine, and certainly not going to be coerced by a bunch of anonymous bureaucrats and so-called experts who think they can make my own personal public health my own personal health decisions for me. i know this is a fight that's going on across america and it' sad that it's come to the university of chicago which is known as a bastion of intellectual freedom and open rigorous debate, but the only people who don't want to debate this are the university administration. >> what is the reaction of some of your teammates, most of them did comply, i think a lot of people say i'll just take the job it's not any big deal. in that's fine, that's what the want to deal. but what do they say do you? are they resentful, angry, supportive? >> the support so far since the publication of my visa for chicago has been overwhelming. lots of my teammates and friend were in fact coerced to take th shots. they did not want to do it, but the university threatening all of these authoritarian measures they have nowhere else to go. that's why it's important for u to all stand up his students an told the university that this i not going to stand for it. >> countries are dropping their vaccine requirements like the u and others, so the university o chicago stands firm in the ignorant approach great arthur, we with which you the best rate we will be following this case, thank you so much, arthur. >> thank you. god bless. >> one woman's in osha emotiona breakdown reveals the devastating fallout of the covi insanity and all those rules. the last bite is next. ready to turn your dreams into plans and your actions into achievements? explore over 75 programs and four-week classes at national university. your future starts today at nu.edu. >> after uk prime minister announced the end of most covid restrictions, one young political commentator could not hold back. to get this me so angry. this makes me so angry. they literally ruined our lives and nobody spoke about it at all . the commentators they had reps come on and say this is what it should have been and they didn' care about i missed the first time i've spoken about it on tv because i knew i would cry abou it. nobody cares. not one person has cared about children in this country. >> the children were collateral damage indeed. it's an forgivable what the covid control freak stood to th children, there must be a reckoning, that is it for us tonight. never forget to show that you understand what's at stake by wearing your usa made reader matters gear now more than ever. all the proceeds this month go to the center for american liberty doing all the great litigation for those seeking freedom from onerous government restrictions, and greg gutfeld and all the fun is next. ♪ >> that is not true. that is li, keep clapping, you jerks. happy thursday, everyone. a great show for you is especially an evil special guest , but first a monologue. you know how bad joey was yesterday. even cnn had to break character which is like one of the guards at buckingham palace giving you the fi
