raymond arroyo. first, how many times did you hear this warning from laura. >> para governors are endangering their states futures and will eventually see their states left behind, the state are being left behind, the blue states will be left further behind, the free states would leave them all behind. the blue states are being left behind. >> the angle tried to warn democrat leaders so many times and they did not take it seriously. >> big mistake. big. huge. sean: they ignored -- if you need any more proof that people are sick and tired of vaccines and mask mandate, crt and rampant crime look no further than the new data from the census bureau. states with the biggest increases in population were already. florida, texas, arizona and the biggest decreases, new york, california and illinois. what do these hard-hit states have in common? joining me now is the president of unleashing prosperity and columnist carol markowitz who has decided to leave new york city, the city she lives for the great state of florida. i will start with you. what were the final straw that made you leave the city spent most of your life in and go to a new state of florida? >> there was no one final straw, just a continual bad policymaking from our leadership that i didn't see ending anytime soon. i don't see light at the end of the tunnel and continue to live in a space i think is just crazy. it points a lot to child masking. i don't like, my kids wearing inside and outside their schools, they have to wear outdoors during recess. the masking is just a symptom and sort of what we can see of the crazy that lies pennies everything else was when using them to-year-olds wearing masks outside you can be confident you are in an insane place and i know i am. i had to get my kids out. sean: what is the social and economic policy, states lose thousands of carol markowitzs and they go to different states? >> i congratulate carolyn getting out of new york, i'm still trying to convince my wife we should leave dc. for now i'm still in the blue enemy territory. this is not a new thing this year. this is a long-running trend with populations leaving california and the northeast in particular, shifting to the south, this year the domestic migration with 650,000 people which is a massive number but typically been about 400,000, 460,000 in recent years so it is a big jump but is on trend and is an acceleration of what we have already seen it has to do with a lot of quality-of-life issues, chief among them is no income tax in places like tennessee, texas and florida and we've seen a large influx of people, 4 million people have moved from in context and on income tax states. there were a lot of other factors as well. crime was effective the covid policies were probably the biggest one and one of the most interesting things in the new numbers is washington state. and on income tax state that normally of the last decade has been gaining net migration of 40,000 people a year was flat even and i think that's two things, the crime problems in seattle and the crazy covid lockdown policies. idaho gained an incredible 40,000 people. i does not in on income tax day but on non-lockdown stay, very attractive alternative to washington, oregon and california. we have acceleration of long-running trends and an effective insane covid mandates driving people out. benjamin: it is other policies lead to the quality-of-life people have more people would be moving to washington as well and we see what is happening with formal policies, crt, homelessness so folks are not moving there but when you look at people who come to america from places like venezuela and cuba when they get here they recognize that democrat policies are similar to the policies in their home country so they vote republican. i'm wondering when people beef places like california, illinois and new york and go to places like texas and florida do they leave their bad policies behind or do they take those bad ideas with them and vote for crazy liberals and republican states and ruin those great states freedom we have in america? >> i was born in the soviet union and i can to the expression community in places like new york are generally conservative and there's a reason for that. once you seen leftism in action you don't want it anymore. in general red states can be confident the people moving there want to share their policies, want to share their politics, not everyone -- a threat on twitter somebody moving to california saying he was worried about the politics of florida where he was moving so course you have people that but when you have places like new york, san francisco, other big cities where homelessness is something that is ignored, shoplifting is something we don't talk about, burglarizing of stores, and homes is something we go by the wayside and don't talk about that either and all these policies we see in action in these places people are trying to escape the crazy and these red states while they do have some concerns about people living there i don't think generally people coming to the states are the ones they need to worry about. sean: you don't have these bad policies and states of california and new york or san francisco, they are not fenced off, democrats want to take these policies from the states and cities and make them national. they want america with crime and drugs and homelessness and feces on the streets, they want san francisco to be all of america should this be a warning sign and should the lights and sirens be going out for the american voter if i don't want america to look like san francisco and got to keep these guys out of office and out of power? >> it has been a decade the states up and shedding population, people are voting with their feet. they do not like these liberal big government policies and it is only accelerating recent years and yet as you point out correctly, democrats believe in the california model. that's the model they want for the whole country, build back better bill, based on the idea of having more government control, more taxation. that is what people are trying to fully. harder to flee at the national level. we need to make the case that there's a reason the red states are performing better economically and so much more attractive than the blue states and the triumph of the free-market model over government control model is the push. sean: you take the policies and make the national there is no other america for us to go. it is important that we save this country with great policies, thank you for joining us, appreciate it. when it comes to red states a rare leading the way on covid from the beginning. you heard cheryl explain why she was moving to one. people are happy and free in red states, makes sense these leaders want to continue doing what they think is fast for their own constituents. here's how president biden said he would help them out. >> president biden: there is no federal solution. this gets all that the state level. my message is simple. if you need something, say something and we will have you back in any way we can. >> maybe he doesn't understand the definition of having someone's back because florida's surgeon general says they are standing in his way. in a letter to david becerra, the administration is actively preventing effective distribution of monoclonal antibody treatments. joining me as florida senator rick scott of the national republican senatorial committee. is that how biden has your state's back? >> absolutely. president biden is a hypocrite. first he says there is no federal solution within these mandates, they pick and choose where to send the treatment. this guy is a complete hypocrite. they need to treat all the states the same, give us good information but with the monoclonal antibodies or tests they distribute all states are treated the same, florida should be treated worse or better than anyplace else, we all should be treated the same. sean: if biden and the cdc don't have recommendations for treatment when someone gets covid why would they stop florida from trying to treat people and save people's live to get covid? >> i don't get biden into get the democrats, they want to tell you how to lead your life but they don't want to be helpful to you. get out of the way, let florida and texas figure out their own solution and don't stop it. they want to control all the treatment, decide where all the treatments go, by this stuff up, they buy the vaccines up, control everything and then decide i am going to give you something if you do the right things. if you do the wrong things i will hold it back. i've got people in florida, they want to make sure they don't get sick, they want good information but if they do get sick we are to have all the treatments. sean: we want to take care of the people we represent. i want your thoughts on breaking news the biden administration asking the supreme court about the remain in mexico case, from era policy for migrants seeking asylum in the us and biden originally tried to scrap the policy but a federal court earlier this year ordered him to reinstate its and they went to appeals court were biden lost again. he just keeps losing and why would he want to rollback a set of policies under trump that were working to keep people from coming into the country? it makes no sense. >> today, about 150 people in the country came across illegally this year. we've got 100,000 overdoses this last year, 100,000, drugs coming across the border like crazy. i was just down last month down in yuma and we've got thousands of people coming across, some of them, i heard there were 4000 people came across in one day in one rural location through one open gate, one open gate. it is like what is biden thinking? does he care about americans. his first responsibility is secure the border. if there are policies that work, i was down at the border and border agents said i had five presidents, every one of them had their ideas but at least they had an idea how to secure the border. biden has done nothing to secure the border, has no interest in securing the border. sean: i think the odds are pretty good republicans take over the senate and the house and it is hard to pass legislation with the president won't signed your bills but one of the powers is the gavel for oversight and i hope a republican senate republican house will do great oversight on the border but also what this administration has done on covid, hopefully you will take that opportunity and i want to thank you for joining us on the angle and your insight, thank you. when the military decided to force covid vaccinations on troops isn't it clear some would obtain exemptions? faith is important to them. >> the freedoms that we fight for here in the military is religious freedom and so keeping with our values as an institution to allow people who are concerned from a religious perspective to be able to state that perspective and have that locked out. >> how is that working out? you will be surprised to learn despite the support the pentagon has for men and women of faith, 0 requests for. 's accommodations in the marines have been approved. leaving many feeling this is total political push, one source told fox news we are facing an unconstitutional edict that i think is targeted as a political per, taking out the best and brightest. joining me now is lieutenant colonel douglas mcgregor of the american conservative and biotech for the secretary of defense under donald trump. 0 religious exemptions approved. that is unfathomable. what is going on? >> and with everything else this administration does in the united states this is politically motivated, and ideological attack designed to illuminate anyone who might raise objections to anything this administration wants to do inside the military. the vaccine and resistance to it is simply a metaphor for everything else in the minds of president biden and his administration that they want to achieve with crt, social justice, equity and so forth, all of these marxist programs that have been implemented are at the forefront of their greatest concerns. this a good opportunity in their minds to get rid of people and that's nothing to do with covid because we know the fatality rate for people in uniform is extremely low, 0.03%. only 82 out of 261,000 infections. there is no justification for this radical action other than politics. sean: this who they think are conservatives or vaccine hesitant or christians who have a religious exception to taking the vaccine. >> absolutely and i don't know what is the demographic breakdown is, the racial makeup of the people they are throwing out is but i suspect the majority of them are probably white americans and white american who is a christian is probably the least desirable person from the vantage point of this administration to have a uniform. even though that is exactly what has populated the army air force and navy and marines in this country for hundreds of years. sean: this is unbelievable but what does this policy, this purging of good military men and women do? >> our readiness is in terrible shape. morale is in the gutter. you can read through the various articles coming out of the pentagon, marines, soldiers, airmen, sailors, people are speaking very clearly about their feelings. morale is terrible. the thing that is so hard to understand is after we have had so many people for so long in uniform do so much that they were asked to do in the last 20 years, we now know in retrospect was frankly stupid in many cases nevertheless they did what they were asked to do and sacrificed their lives in the process. noticeably turn around and throw people out on a whim is unacceptable. this is just going to hurt us further and end of creating an officer corps of pure yes men, people who would do whatever they are told. this is not going to create a force that fights effectively. certainly not a force that believes in any. they are creating a force that believes in nothing. they are just going to do whatever they are told, pick up their paycheck and go about their business. sean: we don't live in a more peaceful world, the world seems to become more balanced with morris, when you look at china russia it is ready we don't have a military rising to the challenge and concern about things that have nothing to do with their readiness. thanks for joining us tonight and giving me your insights. thank you. it is almost 2022. what does that mean? >> great to be with you and what you see on the ground is a lot of energy and enthusiasm on the republican side. you saw it happen in virginia but even in other states where you saw the preview of what could come next year. it's a lot like 2010, when we flipped 63 seats from democrat to republican in that big wave. 63 might not be the number but i think you will see a lot of seats competitive and you were talking about those retirements, the real retirement to watch our swing district democrats that are announcing they are retiring, stephanie murphy was mentioned, that is a seat we can flip in florida. your home state of wisconsin, one of the first people to announce they retiring, a great candidate in derek van horton who has been out working hard and i think he can flip that seat, we have great candidates across the board. it starts with great candidate and a great message, people don't like this big government socialism, they rejecting it in every state from blue states to red states but with great candidates we have a great fundraising advantage. we are going to work hard to steer not only to show how bad they are doing, inflation, spending at all crazy policies but also the conservative items we will be rolling out next year as well. >> you mentioned the cash. we all know what the campaign takes money to win, you have to put ads on tv, get mail and you don't have money you can't get your message out. how are republicans doing compared to democrats on the cash fund? raymond arroyo. first, how many times did you hear this warning from laura. >> para governors are endangering their states futures and will eventually see their states left behind, the state are being left behind, the blue states will be left further behind, the free states would leave them all behind. the blue states are being left behind. >> the angle tried to warn democrat leaders so many times and they did not take it seriously. >> big mistake. big. huge. sean: they ignored -- if you need any more proof that people are sick and tired of vaccines and mask mandate, crt and rampant crime look no further than the new data from the census bureau. states with the biggest increases in population were already. florida, texas, arizona and the biggest decreases, new york, california and illinois. what do these hard-hit states have in common? joining me now is the president of unleashing prosperity and columnist carol markowitz who has decided to leave new york city, the city she lives for the great state of florida. i will start with you. what were the final straw that made you leave the city spent most of your life in and go to a new state of florida? >> there was no one final straw, just a continual bad policymaking from our leadership that i didn't see ending anytime soon. i don't see light at the end of the tunnel and continue to live in a space i think is just crazy. it points a lot to child masking. i don't like, my kids wearing inside and outside their schools, they have to wear outdoors during recess. the masking is just a symptom and sort of what we can see of the crazy that lies pennies everything else was when using them to-year-olds wearing masks outside you can be confident you are in an insane place and i know i am. i had to get my kids out. sean: what is the social and economic policy, states lose thousands of carol markowitzs and they go to different states? >> i congratulate carolyn getting out of new york, i'm still trying to convince my wife we should leave dc. for now i'm still in the blue enemy territory. this is not a new thing this year. this is a long-running trend with populations leaving california and the northeast in particular, shifting to the south, this year the domestic migration with 650,000 people which is a massive number but typically been about 400,000, 460,000 in recent years so it is a big jump but is on trend and is an acceleration of what we have already seen it has to do with a lot of quality-of-life issues, chief among them is no income tax in places like tennessee, texas and florida and we've seen a large influx of people, 4 million people have moved from in context and on income tax states. there were a lot of other factors as well. crime was effective the covid policies were probably the biggest one and one of the most interesting things in the new numbers is washington state. and on income tax state that normally of the last decade has been gaining net migration of 40,000 people a year was flat even and i think that's two things, the crime problems in seattle and the crazy covid lockdown policies. idaho gained an incredible 40,000 people. i does not in on income tax day but on non-lockdown stay, very attractive alternative to washington, oregon and california. we have acceleration of long-running trends and an effective insane covid mandates driving people out. benjamin: it is other policies lead to the quality-of-life people have more people would be moving to washington as well and we see what is happening with formal policies, crt, homelessness so folks are not moving there but when you look at people who come to america from places like venezuela and cuba when they get here they recognize that democrat policies are similar to the policies in their home country so they vote republican. i'm wondering when people beef places like california, illinois and new york and go to places like texas and florida do they leave their bad policies behind or do they take those bad ideas with them and vote for crazy liberals and republican states and ruin those great states freedom we have in america? >> i was born in the soviet union and i can to the expression community in places like new york are generally conservative and there's a reason for that. once you seen leftism in action you don't want it anymore. in general red states can be confident the people moving there want to share their policies, want to share their politics, not everyone -- a threat on twitter somebody moving to california saying he was worried about the politics of florida where he was moving so course you have people that but when you have places like new york, san francisco, other big cities where homelessness is something that is ignored, shoplifting is something we don't talk about, burglarizing of stores, and homes is something we go by the wayside and don't talk about that either and all these policies we see in action in these places people are trying to escape the crazy and these red states while they do have some concerns about people living there i don't think generally people coming to the states are the ones they need to worry about. sean: you don't have these bad policies and states of california and new york or san francisco, they are not fenced off, democrats want to take these policies from the states and cities and make them national. they want america with crime and drugs and homelessness and feces on the streets, they want san francisco to be all of america should this be a warning sign and should the lights and sirens be going out for the american voter if i don't want america to look like san francisco and got to keep these guys out of office and out of power? >> it has been a decade the states up and shedding population, people are voting with their feet. they do not like these liberal big government policies and it is only accelerating recent years and yet as you point out correctly, democrats believe in the california model. that's the model they want for the whole country, build back better bill, based on the idea of having more government control, more taxation. that is what people are trying to fully. harder to flee at the national level. we need to make the case that there's a reason the red states are performing better economically and so much more attractive than the blue states and the triumph of the free-market model over government control model is the push. sean: you take the policies and make the national there is no other america for us to go. it is important that we save this country with great policies, thank you for joining us, appreciate it. when it comes to red states a rare leading the way on covid from the beginning. you heard cheryl explain why she was moving to one. people are happy and free in red states, makes sense these leaders want to continue doing what they think is fast for their own constituents. here's how president biden said he would help them out. >> president biden: there is no federal solution. this gets all that the state level. my message is simple. if you need something, say something and we will have you back in any way we can. >> maybe he doesn't understand the definition of having someone's back because florida's surgeon general says they are standing in his way. in a letter to david becerra, the administration is actively preventing effective distribution of monoclonal antibody treatments. joining me as florida senator rick scott of the national republican senatorial committee. is that how biden has your state's back? >> absolutely. president biden is a hypocrite. first he says there is no federal solution within these mandates, they pick and choose where to send the treatment. this guy is a complete hypocrite. they need to treat all the states the same, give us good information but with the monoclonal antibodies or tests they distribute all states are treated the same, florida should be treated worse or better than anyplace else, we all should be treated the same. sean: if biden and the cdc don't have recommendations for treatment when someone gets covid why would they stop florida from trying to treat people and save people's live to get covid? >> i don't get biden into get the democrats, they want to tell you how to lead your life but they don't want to be helpful to you. get out of the way, let florida and texas figure out their own solution and don't stop it. they want to control all the treatment, decide where all the treatments go, by this stuff up, they buy the vaccines up, control everything and then decide i am going to give you something if you do the right things. if you do the wrong things i will hold it back. i've got people in florida, they want to make sure they don't get sick, they want good information but if they do get sick we are to have all the treatments. sean: we want to take care of the people we represent. i want your thoughts on breaking news the biden administration asking the supreme court about the remain in mexico case, from era policy for migrants seeking asylum in the us and biden originally tried to scrap the policy but a federal court earlier this year ordered him to reinstate its and they went to appeals court were biden lost again. he just keeps losing and why would he want to rollback a set of policies under trump that were working to keep people from coming into the country? it makes no sense. >> today, about 150 people in the country came across illegally this year. we've got 100,000 overdoses this last year, 100,000, drugs coming across the border like crazy. i was just down last month down in yuma and we've got thousands of people coming across, some of them, i heard there were 4000 people came across in one day in one rural location through one open gate, one open gate. it is like what is biden thinking? does he care about americans. his first responsibility is secure the border. if there are policies that work, i was down at the border and border agents said i had five presidents, every one of them had their ideas but at least they had an idea how to secure the border. biden has done nothing to secure the border, has no interest in securing the border. sean: i think the odds are pretty good republicans take over the senate and the house and it is hard to pass legislation with the president won't signed your bills but one of the powers is the gavel for oversight and i hope a republican senate republican house will do great oversight on the border but also what this administration has done on covid, hopefully you will take that opportunity and i want to thank you for joining us on the angle and your insight, thank you. when the military decided to force covid vaccinations on troops isn't it clear some would obtain exemptions? faith is important to them. >> the freedoms that we fight for here in the military is religious freedom and so keeping with our values as an institution to allow people who are concerned from a religious perspective to be able to state that perspective and have that locked out. >> how is that working out? you will be surprised to learn despite the support the pentagon has for men and women of faith, 0 requests for. 0 religious exemptions approved. that is unfathomable. what is going on? >> and with everything else this administration does in the united states this is politically motivated, and ideological attack designed to illuminate anyone who might raise objections to anything this administration wants to do inside the military. the vaccine and resistance to it is simply a metaphor for everything else in the minds of president biden and his administration that they want to achieve with crt, social justice, equity and so forth, all of these marxist programs that have been implemented are at the forefront of their greatest concerns. this a good opportunity in their minds to get rid of people and that's nothing to do with covid because we know the fatality rate for people in uniform is extremely low, 0.03%. only 82 out of 261,000 infections. there is no justification for this radical action other than politics. sean: this who they think are conservatives or vaccine hesitant or christians who have a religious exception to taking the vaccine. >> absolutely and i don't know what is the demographic breakdown is, the racial makeup of the people they are throwing out is but i suspect the majority of them are probably white americans and white american who is a christian is probably the least desirable person from the vantage point of this administration to have a uniform. even though that is exactly what has populated the army air force and navy and marines in this country for hundreds of years. sean: this is unbelievable but what does this policy, this purging of good military men and women do? >> our readiness is in terrible shape. morale is in the gutter. you can read through the various articles coming out of the pentagon, marines, soldiers, airmen, sailors, people are speaking very clearly about their feelings. morale is terrible. the thing that is so hard to understand is after we have had so many people for so long in uniform do so much that they were asked to do in the last 20 years, we now know in retrospect was frankly stupid in many cases nevertheless they did what they were asked to do and sacrificed their lives in the process. noticeably turn around and throw people out on a whim is unacceptable. this is just going to hurt us further and end of creating an officer corps of pure yes men, people who would do whatever they are told. this is not going to create a force that fights effectively. certainly not a force that believes in any. they are creating a force that believes in nothing. they are just going to do whatever they are told, pick up their paycheck and go about their business. sean: we don't live in a more peaceful world, the world seems to become more balanced with morris, when you look at china russia it is ready we don't have a military rising to the challenge and concern about things that have nothing to do with their readiness. thanks for joining us tonight and giving me your insights. thank you. it is almost 2022. what does that mean? time for midterms, 23 house democrats not seeking reelection the gop has a real chance to retake the majority. house minority whip steve scalise has more on that and which senate races could determine control of the upper chamber. ♪♪ .. ♪ ♪ >> sean: at a time when biden's approval rating is actually lower than his vice presidents, democrats are getting the hint and jumping ship. 23 house democrats are not seeking reelection sean: it i biden's approval ratings lower than his vice president democrats are getting the hint and jumping ship. 23 house democrats are not seeking reelection in 2022. could more becoming? met in has more. >> of those 23 house democrats who say they will not 3 reelection 5 announced the decision in december alone. it is putting the democrat party and a very difficult position heading into the midterm elections, democrats will try to defend their razor thin majority in the house, republicans need a net gain of just 5 seats in the 535 member chamber to regain the house majority but it lost in 2018. just last week a trio of house democrats announced they won't seek reelection next year. representative stephanie murphy of florida, alan of california and all they a series of new york, republicans have history in his eye. on average the party that wins the white house in the presidential election historically loses more than 25 house seats in the following midterms. the last four presidents of lost senate and house majority's and the once in a decade congressional redistricting process is expected to favor republicans. this all comes as president biden's job approval rating hit new lows in recent weeks and the president's hope of passing $1.7 billion social spending package was slashed when joe manchin announced he will not support that legislation. 13 house republicans to date of announced or indicated they are retiring or not taking another office in 2022, some retard while others seeking a statewide office. sean: thank you. how will the gop capitalize on these outgoing democrats to retake the house. steve scalise joins me now. you see the data, you see the polling, you see a red wave coming for republicans in 2022? >> great to be with you and what you see on the ground is a lot of energy and enthusiasm on the republican side. you saw it happen in virginia but even in other states where you saw the preview of what could come next year. it's a lot like 2010, when we flipped 63 seats from democrat to republican in that big wave. 63 might not be the number but i think you will see a lot of seats competitive and you were talking about those retirements, the real retirement to watch our swing district democrats that are announcing they are retiring, stephanie murphy was mentioned, that is a seat we can flip in florida. your home state of wisconsin, one of the first people to announce they retiring, a great candidate in derek van horton who has been out working hard and i think he can flip that seat, we have great candidates across the board. it starts with great candidate and a great message, people don't like this big government socialism, they rejecting it in every state from blue states to red states but with great candidates we have a great fundraising advantage. we are going to work hard to steer not only to show how bad they are doing, inflation, spending at all crazy policies but also the conservative items we will be rolling out next year as well. >> you mentioned the cash. we all know what the campaign takes money to win, you have to put ads on tv, get mail and you don't have money you can't get your message out. how are republicans doing compared to democrats on the cash fund? >> we been breaking records without raising democrats almost every month and they are in the majority, they have the house, senate and white house and we have been out raising them almost every month this year. seeing people come in and donate money in large numbers who in some cases never did before because they are scared to death about the future of the country, they don't want america to become a socialist nation, tied all the spending that is jacking up inflation and it is not just big donors but record numbers of small donors, you can go to stevescalise.com and get $20 to help fire nancy pelosi and help us win back the house, we are seeing records being broken on fundraising because people are excited about conservative candidates, the prospect of what we'll do to reverse this big government socialism we are seeing. sean: there's a lot of small dollar contributions coming in, $5, $10, $40. look at the failures of democrats whether it is the border or crime or afghanistan, inflation, energy. when you talk, the salvation for our electoral changes in the midterms in 2022 is we have to pass build back better, the socialist spending package and i look at that and go are they blind, do they not see the american people don't want more borrowing and more spending and more programs, they want to buy food at the grocery store, filler car with gas and not get gouged. things they are completely out of touch with the american people. >> incredibly out of touch and you saw it in the exit polling in virginia. youngercan great race, terry mcauliffe when he said parents should be to be involved in kids education it was a bellwether. he's not the only one. that is the mantra of a lot of big government socialists, about government control the democrats a week after the virginia election pass the $4 trillion bill. they won't stop spending money and everybody knows it is driving inflation and what is their answer to keep trying to spend more money at least in the senate joe manchin said enough is enough and they won't even was in to him, they want power, they want control over people's lives, people just want freedom, it is why they are flocking to states like florida and texas that are open and fleeing in droves from states like new york, california and illinois, shutting everything down. sean: i think it is great to run the campaign that says i'm not a democrat right now and that can work but you don't have an agenda to run on, we support freedom, we support individual choice would be a successful mantra for republicans to hit across the country and the midterms. thanks for joining me tonight. now we turn to the senate, control the majority will come down to a handful of states. jointly is the cofounder of real pure politics. states ucr competitive. walk us through those states and what is in play. >> reporter: great to be with you. i call them the big five and it starts in arizona, mark kelly up for reelection in north of him, cortez master oh running for reelection. both those races will be competitive, both of those incumbents are in danger. there was a poll last week that showed the republican candidate in nevada leading cortez mastoh 55 or 6 points, pretty good margin for republican in that state. those are two of the big spots. the other one is in georgia with rafael warnock, newly elected and defending his seat, very competitive state. the republican candidate, same polling showed herschel walker up a single point which is not great for republicans in this environment, you would think a republican candidate in georgia would be doing better but those are the three democrats are going to have to fight to hold onto otherwise losing a net of minus one seat in the senate loses their majority. sean: in the republican party what is at play? >> on the republican side big ones are pennsylvania where you've got an open seat, pat toomey retiring and really fluid crazy primaries on both sides, sean parnell was in and out, doctor oz in on the republican side, for a fluid situation but that is obviously estate the democrats think they can take advantage of and perhaps split the state, the other one is north carolina, richard burks retiring and a competitive primary on the republican side between ted budd and the previous governor in mccrory. interesting to see how the primary works out but those are the two seats republicans are defending. >> look at these races, there's a bunch of people in primaries. it really determines races by who wins those primaries, you have a candidate who can win statewide, we don't know that but there is polling the talked about how hispanics have moved from democrat to republican over the last couple years. will that impact these races to your analysis? >> absolutely. that is the key. we saw this paul from nbc news wall street journal that came out a couple weeks ago that showed in the generic congressional ballot if the election was held today hispanics would split their vote 47-47 between republican candidate and democratic candidate. that is a seachange. of that happens you would see democrats lose across the board. in arizona and nevada, a large section of hispanic voters but also places like georgia, florida, pennsylvania, you have hispanic populations that are not insignificant and if they swing the vote that much from -- the republican side that will make a huge difference in the midterm elections, probably the key swing electorate and we will be keeping an eye on them obviously. sean: the most important state of all 50 states, great state of wisconsin where i am from. imagine ron johnson and the senate seat that is open 22 in wisconsin, what is your take on what is going to happen? >> everybody is waiting on senator johnson to tell us if he's going to run, it he is an incumbent, that is a huge advantage and given history and where the landscape is it favors republican so he would be a solid favorite to win but if he doesn't that becomes an open seat, that is a state that has been on a razor's page, 50/50 for the last week through four cycles and republicans and democrats in that state of been hand-to-hand political combat for the better part of a decade. they know where all the votes are. that's wider so competitive. if it is an open seat depending on who the candidates ultimately end up being that could end up being very competitive. sean: in front johnson runs i think he wins, you're right on that. if he doesn't run there's a problem in wisconsin for reasons i won't go into tonight but problems in the primer that would give a lot of benefits democrats. of republicans want to keep the senate, when the senate, ron johnson has to get into this race and run but thank you for your insight on the senate races. i appreciate it. the left is doing their best to shut down new year's eve celebrations but don't worry, fox news has you covered. raymond arroyo will explain in seen and unseen. and a big announcement, stay right there. ♪ ♪ >> sean: it's time for our "seen and unseen" segment where we unpacked the biggest cultural stories of the week. and for that, time impact the biggest cultural stories of the week. we turn to cohost of fox and new year's eve coverage, the great, the awesome raymond arroyo. you are going to be in new orleans but a lot of cities have shutdown new year's eve celebrations. >> mostly due to, cron fears. atlanta shutting down a fatal peach drop, san francisco killed their fireworks, seattle scaling back, new york is restricting time square to 15,000 people all masked and fully vaccinated. all blue state governors and fauci while not canceling celebrations are ringing in the new year with alarm. >> omicron and delta are coming to your party. you need to think twice about how many people will be gathered together keeping social distancing if you are at a party and if you can't -- >> talking about a new year's eve party with 40, 50, 60 people celebrating, you do not know the status of the vaccination i would recommend stay away from that this year. sean: don't meet with anybody, don't talk to the kids, no neighbors, keep your distance. the good news is the cdc director today said despite the surgeon omicron, deaths and hospitalizations are comparatively low. over the last 7 days cases are up 60% but hospitalizations are only up 14% and deaths are down. while this thing is infectious it is not lethal. people need to make their own decisions given their health, vaccination status, whether you're comfortable with, let them decide how to celebrate new year's eve. >> they are fun burglars and rachel is going to be here, hoping for that so who is celebrating new year's this year?
