president trump on this decision. welcome to the program. glad to have you. great to be here. sean: you and a lot of prominent judicial scholars were asked to look for certain candidates that fit this meaning of a constitutionalist, and originalist. maybe some americans are hearing this term for the first time. how would you best define those terms and differentiate a regionalism from judicial activism? first of all, the way to think about it is a judge has a deep sense of fairness and a sense of impartiality. when he is grounded in text and original meaning of the constitution, she is putting the text and the original meeting ahead of any political predisposition he may have. that s the way a judge cases. fairly and partially without regard to your own predispositions or prejudices. sean: a judicial activist assembly of a liberal put a liberal would want on the court? somebody believes that the constitution is a living and breathing document that they have the right ....
he is a heck no on trump care. i m a heck no on this. i think they ve got problems with the vote. i ve personally spoken to 29 of my conservative colleagues who are no on this as of today and we re not even counting the moderate republicans who are a no. i think they ve got a lot of arm twisting to do between now and thursday if they re going to pass this bill in the house. does he sound scared to you? because congressman massey was in the room today when donald trump came to the house of representatives to urge republicans to vote for the bill. here is how congressman massey describes tough guy donald trump. threatening and pushing around all those republicans who oppose the bill. he was very charming. there was some light-hearted jabs at his opponents in the room but it was all in good fun. light-hearted jabs. that ought to do it. that s what tough guy trump is delivering to republican opponents of his bill. thomas massey doesn t claim to be a tough guy the way donal ....
that s absurd. did anyone involved in the trump campaign have contact with russians trying to meddle with the election? absolutely not. we don t know of any contacts with russian agents. those conversations never happened. lie after lie. why would there be any contacts between the campaign? why is a question that remains to be answered. what we know now is there were contacts between jared kushner by his own admission, not fake news, real facts. jared kushner said he met with russians, he just didn t collude with them. what else did he say? reporter: he said he had four meetings with russians during the campaign season and during the transition. he did say he met with the russian ambassador at the mayflower hotel during one of then candidate trump s foreign policy speeches. of course, he acknowledged being at that now infamous meeting at trump tower which donald trump, jr. was promised dirt on the clinton campaign as part of an effort to help with the russian g ....
