rachel: hica. pete: better than i would. one of the leaders of the migrant caravan. he talked about the current administration to another network on twitter. what he said pertains to joe biden. they're in denial of their own fault. they haven't been able to handle immigration. if i tell you the truth i believe at least with donald trump we knew what we had. with biden we don't know. he doesn't. he doesn't seem to have a clue what to do with immigration because he says one thing after another. so the leaders of the caravan,ed into they were running into a with donald trump. is it ambivalent, is it confusion, is it willful, just tearing down what donald trump did. mixed signals say let's to with the border with the caravan. now is a time. rachel: a peculiar statement, honestly if i was in his shoes i would be pretty satisfied with the biden policy regardless what they're saying publicly. it is very obvious from the free flights that you get once you cross our border that send you to wherever you want to go in the united states, courtesy of the u.s. tax dollar. this is the biden administration is absolutely for this. as we spoke about this yesterday, the biden administration is finding new ways to allow them to come, actually legally claiming they are climate refugees, that is something they are working on right now. this ask peculiar that he is saying this. we'll ask griff. hopefully we'll get to talk to him today. who is funding this? >> no, no, but what i can say is that obviously people who want to make this very dangerous journey, they do pay the cartels to facilitate the trafficking of them so they can actually get to the our southern border and what i can say is that you know, this is very organized because they do this on a daily basis. this is their everyday jobs the human trafficking organizations and drug cartels because we see thousands of people but they see millions of dollars. really they're the only winners in all of this, in terms of the money that they make. that is something that is very unfortunate because the reason why they're willing to form such large caravans, they're trying to get into the united states while biden is still in office because of the policies he has been pushing. rachel: it is interesting. there was the quote of lear of this caravan, he said, i actually appreciate, i'm paraphrasing, i actually appreciate the clarity of the former administration, the trump administration. i don't like the mixed signals coming from biden. what do you make of that? >> so the mixed signals have come from the fact that he campaigned on stopping deportations for 100 days. he has repealed or halted the border wall construction, stopping title 42 for minors and remain in mexico policy. because they had changed in course because the court ordered biden administration to reimplement remain in mexico. the other people are trying to get into the united states. they will get in because remain in mexico is taken into effect in november. there are things they have to work with mexico to fully reimplement it. that is a little bit of mixed signal they're getting. but at the end of the day, the reason i said before, the reason they're taking enormous risk and pay a lot of money to the cartels, mostly the biden administration has opened the border. rachel: yeah. they haven't been shy about when interviewed, many of these migrants still say, a, i'm doing this because biden says i will get in and b, i they said i wouldn't have tried this under the lasted a administration. they seem to understand the signals coming from the administration. i want to ask you about another topic. dhs has been revealed paid $455,000 to build a security fence around president biden's beach home. what do you make of this, especially in light of the millions of dollars that we see of rusted fencing that could have been our southern border and many jobs that were lost, infrastructure jobs that were lost because biden said we'll stop building the wall? >> i mean the president's security is understandable, right? that is why they're putting up the fence but it is hard to square that i can tell you in my time in the rio grande valley especially at the beginning of all of this, they were able to place agents at the gaps along the border wall. because they have some people coming in on a daily basis, it has gotten worse since march, border patrol can't even afford a agent, a single agent at gaps in the border wall. the president's security is important but so is the security of the nation. that is why it is not just the border wall. it is border wall system. it has to, physical barrier, technology, manpower. right now a lot of the parts of the border hardly have either and that is because the biden administration pushed that forward. so if they want to look at the root causes they have to look at the democrats in washington for the current crisis. rachel: it would be helpful if they visited, both kamala and joe biden what our border patrol, what our brave border patrol have to say what they're facing right now. julio, always great talking to you. thanks for joining us. >> thank you. rachel: lawrence. lawrence: thanks, rachel. turning now to your headlines, vanessa bryant recounting the day that she learned of kobe and giana's tragic death in a lawsuit in l.a. county. she was inundated kobe notifications on her phone hours before she was told of her husband's dead. she said she was assured the held copter crash site was kept private. experienced emotional distress that the first-responders took pictures of her family's remains. lawsuit seeks damages for negligence and instation of privacy. parents activists rally for a police presence at schools after five firearms are confiscated from new york city schools over the past week. the new york city school safety coalition says more nypd safety agents need to be hired. they played a huge role in seizures. eight firearms were found in schools this year. comes as mayor de blasio works to shift school safety from the nypd to the education department. that is not working well. take a look at this, a small dog rescued from the ocean off the coast of florida. a woman and her friend were boating near fort lauderdale when they spotted the pup named suko struggling in the rough water. one person jumped in and pulled him out. they then used a number on his tag to call his owner and reunited him. the pups owner said they had been searching for him since he accidentally jumped off their boat. he is happy and healthy. coming up the one who filmed the rescue and who jumped into the water joins us to discuss their rescue. those are the headlines. turn to chief meteorologist rick reichmuth for our fox news weather forecast. fox weather forecast now. rick: anything works. i love the dog story. that is amazing. talk a little weather out here. a lot going on. get ready on sundays. i always like to give you a shot what the week coming ahead. precipitation across the country, in fact we have a lot of moisture across from areas like iowa, illinois, it will cause flooding. same across parts of the northeast. look out across areas of the northwest. a lot of rain, mountain snow, very good news for the drought going on. southeast, beautiful fall day. across parts of the central plains this is where we this morning have a lot of rain. later on today, severe weather coming as well. storm across parts of the west. much of northern california getting five to 10 inches of rain. winter storm warnings across higher elevations. two to three feet of snow. severe weather across the plains throughout the day later on. what are you doing?
