by my cohost harris faulkner and emily compagno, fox nation host abby hornacek and in the center virtual seat host of the rubin report, dave rubin. happy thursday to all. the president's poll numbers are an absolute free fall as of his approval rating plunges to just 38%. that's down four percentage points from last month and he also took a big hit when it came to his leadership as the majority of those polled say he does not have strong leadership skills. it's about the same when it comes to competency with more than half of those surveyed saying that biden administration simply is not up to the job of running the government. it's amazing to me, dave, starting with you. quinnipiac is to me an organization that often oversample democrats. they told us andrew dillon was going to be ron desantis by 11 points a day before the election and that obvious they didn't happen but in this poll they sampled 5% more democrats and republicans but even then they are fighting 55 percent don't believe that joe biden is competent, but he's not being effective in governing dave rubin. >> i think it's pretty clear that joe biden is not competent. i'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he is the one making the decision. i guess i'm just in a generous mood this morning. but this really shouldn't surprise anybody. it shouldn't really surprise anyone that isn't completely brainwashed by "the washington post" and "new york times" and cnn and nbc. we are having supply chain problems and saying that $3.520 equals zero, that just came out yesterday that there were more cobra deaths in 2021 than 2020. that every single thing that comes out of the administration is a lie. and we were told that we were going to heal and everything was going to be okay and now he's got the attorney general merrick garland going up to parents who do stand up at school boards and every single thing that they could be doing wrong. abby, issue by issue. these are absolutely stunning. let's look at the economy, is underwater by 16 points. military underwater as commander in chief by 21 points, taxes underwater by 17, foreign policy underwater by 24, immigration 42, the mexican border is 44, and even covid. he swore he is going to decimate the virus, and as dave rubin points out "abc news" reporting yesterday, more americans have died from covid-19 this year from the virus then all of 2020. and this despite president trump giving the vaccine therapeutics date on who was most affected by covid but still he's managed to bump away. >> i think part of that either way is probably having to do with dr. fauci and help politicize he's become. i think people are starting to associate what's coming out of dr. fauci's mouth with what biden feels and jesse watters said it perfectly. it's not that people don't trust the science, they just don't trust the scientists. so there's that. according to the quinnipiac poll, he only has a 25% approval rating of handling immigration and a 23% of handling the border and just as you mentioned, because americans are now feeling the effects of this presidency. we've been talking about the crisis of the border since day one and i think a lot of people are like, it's not my issue, i don't live in a border state. now you are seeing ten governors to join in with governor greg abbott to come up with a ten-point system to help remedy the crisis of the border. you ask where is president biden and all of that and you hear the average american, their pocketbooks are hurting because of inflation. there was a recent data that showed that the average family has to pay $175 per more per month on food, fuel and housing so those are things that will put a big ding and president biden's number. >> kayleigh: and not only are voters realizing but so are democrats. really the only major race the cycle running for governor, when you have him saying this. >> we have to get democrats out to promote. we are facing a lot of headwinds as you know, the president is unpopular today and unfortunately here in virginia, so we have got to plow through. >> emily? this is a democratic gubernatorial candidate calling him unpopular. this is a democrat gubernatorial candidate who wouldn't say the name of joe biden on the debate stage. what does this tell you? >> to get signals a huge changing of the tides and i think abby hit the nail on the head when she sort of itemized exactly what regular ordinary americans care about and dave at the nail on the head when he talked about what then candidate biden promised us. i think what we are seeing instead is instead of an inheritance of what he claimed was a corrupt administration and that was a return to normalcy, a return to decency at a return to unity, we are getting the absolute absence. and on top of that absolute incompetence that we are receiving now and getting data destruction and dismantling of everything that was secure before he took office and now these polls are reflected in absolute disgust because they can only hold onto the mirage for so long. we'll talk about in a moment of the fact that they were putting up a fake white house set for him to broadcast from and to me that's the terry on top. the fact that he was "the wizard of oz" schram, that we realized wasn't a mirage and wouldn't have been to begin with. behind that there is certainly a curtain with a small man operating a bunch of things or someone operating him and it's this sham that we are supposed to believe in and yet now everyone is seeing reality, democratic candidates included. >> no doubt emily and you raise an interesting point with this set. i was texting with my former top deputy there in the white house and he did all the managing of the teleprompter and the mechanics of the press shop and he said to me to basically constructed at disney-like set in south ct. which is a separate building from the white house which is very odd. you have the power of rules setting up the white house across the street with multiple locations and he said president trump often read from his notebook in those cases, it's hard to hide the teleprompter so maybe that's what this is all about, keeping him on script. >> harris: well ari fleischer, for more white house staff under previous president told me last hour that that's exactly what it's all about but it's a little bit even deeper than that. keeping him from going off script but also presenting the situation where it looks like he's more nimble and more on the ball because you can't see the teleprompter. and i thought about that because you and i, you are a guest on one of my political town halls and i before that season heated up in 2016 and what's interesting about that as you can have a conversation about transparency and let people see the window of the world that we are living in. this is a talk show so we are not reading anything right now. we are all talking to each other. but people see that it comes with us. ari said to the thing that bothered him most was the time a tinylittle desk that he was be behind. and the president's consistency, can we pump it up to where all the topics of his were underwater, and by that i mean all the topics that he's all underwater on. that's one problem but the president only has two jobs so what you are seeing has consistently, these have to deal with one of those jobs, national security. military, foreign policy, immigration, mexican border. and i would argue coronavirus is also a national security issue, considering that we are not testing people the same way we are testing people in the united states or making them live by our rules the same way we have to. so their job is to govern and that makes up the rest of that list. so we got two jobs and those categories are representative of the jobs, the two things that he's not doing. they are consistently underwater and consistently bad. the quinnipiac is one pole but will look at real clear where it takes a conglomerate of polls and it's not looking good for him. not now. >> kayleigh: no come in that small desk is perhaps diplomatic of the biden presidency. he looks like the sidekick of a late night comedy show. what an absolute and total disgrace. just ahead, targeting -- that's true. we get him cut off with the bars. next up the department of justice targeting so-called threats of violence from parents to school boards but what about the left-wing protesters who set fire to cities across the country? this is left-wing protesters nearly burning major american cities to the ground and yet they weren't slept with a terrorist label. coming to you first, not only were they not slept with that terrorist label but they were not federally prosecuted at the federal or state level and in most of those cases the deterrent consequences consisted of community service. what will they do something about it and not respond to the cause of the ns b.a.t. was the patriot act to inform another parents >> emily, as a wise man once said the left would have no standards and this is the perfect example. with all of those parents who are protesting against putting neo-racism into the schools to teach children that they are born guilty because of their skin color, that some deserve more and some deserve less, that's just one piece of critical race theory throughout all of our public schools and at this point i would say you got to get your kids out of public schools and we should all be for school choice and funding kids instead. the government will not do anything when it comes to left-wing violence and we know that over 2020 it was something like $2 billion that blm t caused in property damage and then they will tell you and lives will get wandered through the mainstream media that that's not really violence, and they will be fine tasting kyrsten sinema down on planes and in bathrooms. there's really nothing that they can't do for their end goal which is power. they have the mainstream media running cover and this thing with the attorney general, the idea that they can't take control of their child's education, and that's excess exacerbating. that's what they've been having in the most dangerous person in the neighborhood is the patriot flying the american flag or the parents trying to weigh in on their children's education and it literally these taxpaying americans are watching as they are backyards are being burned still at their livelihood is being threatened still by these writers and by these violent fellow americans, and there is absolutely zero repercussion including as well the crime spikes. how is that possibly reconcilable? >> it's not. imagine if you are a riot or and imagine if you are a parent and president trump put out a memo that said no individual or group had a right to damage deface or move any monument by use of force. what did biden do? president trump rolled her back and said if you are not important in your city reversed it. you noted that that's half of cases and what did his department of justice due to parents? you are potentially a terrorist and we will come after you. why? because we love the teachers union dictates the cdc guidelines and we want to be shown as standing with this, it's a purely political cut collation but when it will backfire and parents won't stand for it. never get between a parent and a child and that's exactly what biden's federal government is doing. >> part of what is so frightening about this, one of the many things, is the fact that there are concentrated calls to utilize within the doj the informant aspect for parents to inform among other parents that they deem potentially hostile threat or could rise into the level of violence with the school boards and educators and that is such an incendiary, dangerous point here because we have seen historically what happens when governments incentivize neighbors calli out other neighbors. neighbors reporting on other neighbors, it is absolutely terrifying. >> emily, if that's not division i don't know what is and unfortunately i think it's a sign of the times. that somehow makes you a bit lynn, and it's a villain that people unfortunately want punished. none of us condone harassment, and these meetings that the local law enforcement have been called up and they would deal with it in the necessary measures and to take the precautions that they need for peaceful protest. unfortunately they are being politicized, and unfortunately i think that's coming from the teachers union. then you have the group that truly wants the best for the kids and that's the parents. i know this, and you mess with the bull you get the horns. >> and you are always there. the parents are there. there is in the movie is carrie honey and they wear little aprons, but i'm more of a raptor if you get between me and my kids. i want to take it up the food chain a little bit. emily, i'm curious to know who has the president here. politico has been reporting that last week the national school board association pressed president biden for federal assistance to view whether violence and threats against public school officials could be considered a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes. so they bent his ear and what did they say after that? then we saw that the fbi headed by, directed by garland, merrick garland is going to get involved. so we went from a white house plea to the fbi looking at parents. so i want to know, because i really don't. does the national school board association, does it operate like a union in the sense that it can make donations to candidates? i want to now know the political connection between a board that just got the fbi to get 60 on parents through the doj and through the biden white house, i want to know. did they give any donations to people along the way making those decisions? i.e. then candidate joe biden? i think it's time to start asking some deeper questions. we can get our emotions up, and we mama raptors, who love the bears are, by the way, we can get emotional about it. i would rather get facts and i would rather know what the real motivations are because you cannot press back if you don't have them. and >> dave: can i make one final point really quick? >> emily: of course. >> dave: according to the cdc numbers the morbidity rate for children under 18 years old is .002%. not 2%, .002%. so if you are a parent and you have some vaccine hesitancy for your young child, the idea that you can't go to a school board and feel that you can speak up about that without potentially being put on a list is actually crazy. actually think this has far more to do with the push for vaccine mandates even than it does with critical race theory. i know they don't speak up about parents wanting anything but i think it's really about that. if you are a parent and you have a legitimate concern then you should be able to err it. like us right back to the union. >> all of those corollaries represent the push for power and control, and and they are seeing the use of it as a weapon to further an agenda or to curry favor clearly from the and sba or at a minimum the teachers union, that's why we are also seeing and draw experience and taking their children out of public schools and homeschooling them or putting them elsewhere. it will be an interesting trend in the future just how much that entire amount will be absolutely decimated. coming up, she has time for baking treats, fancy dinner toasts and now a kids show but what about her job as vice president?
