work. so far, congressional republicans have not been unified by many things as strongly as their opposition to president biden s agenda. this morning, ohio republican senator roger portman said no to a democratic proposal in the bipartisan bill. it would have partially paid for the plant through irs reinforcement. one reason it s not part of the proposal is that we had pushback. another reason is that we found out the democrats had a proposal in the reconciliation package which was not just similar to the one we had but with a lot more irs enforcement. that created quite a problem because in the general agreement, this is the bipartisan negotiation infrastructure package and we will stick with that. some republicans say that they support the bipartisan infrastructure proposal. but are there enough to pass it? last night, oklahoma city mayor david holt who s republican, seems optimistic. there s something bigger here than just the package itself. there s an opport ....
