>> laura, it's pretty c interesting. infe the way they are confessing that their single mask recommendation didn't work and they are saying what we've been saying all along is that for the vast majority of people using the vast majority of the masks that are being used among the general public, you've got no fit and so your breathing around the top from around the sides, the aerosol transmission is not effective at all. it's a interesting because two weeks ago fauci said there is no data or science on the question, now suddenly they have the study that looks like it was done in an afternoon, done with mannequins, ten configurations three times each and they said, well, if you can somehow tie down the mask so it's tight against the mannequin's base or put panty hose over it to hold the mask down then it'll be more effective in filtering. it's like, yes, in lab condition where you can tie the mask down from the mannequin or use hosiery to hold in place, you are going to get better performance from that. but the study points out that this tells us nothing about what the effect would be in the real world because in the real world you want necessarily going to get a perfect fit by using these techniques. it might make the fit even worse. i'm not sure you can even conclude anything from this other than they've sort of confessed may be inadvertently, what they've been recommended and didn't really work. >> laura: how can anyone believe what's being said if it changes every 5 minutes and it gets more onerous without necessarily any scientific backing?
