HYDERABAD: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said there is a need for ‘akhand Bharat’ (undivided India) and it would suit better for countries like Pakistan which got separated from India.
Speaking at a Sanskrit book launch, Bhagwat said ‘Akhand Bharat’ is possible with Hindu dharma. “We consider countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan as ours. Once they are with us, it does not matter what they practise or what they eat. It is not colonialism. India believes in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family).”
He sought to know if Pakistan and Gandhar (which became Afghanistan later) are having peace and trust ever since they were formed. “Because they are separated from the energy of life (India), we are open to treat them as our own as they were before,” he said.

Telangana IT and Industries Minister KTR has been awarded the SKOCH “Best Performing IT Minister” Award for the year 2020.
Also, Telangana state has been awarded the “e-Governance State of the Year” award by SKOCH Group.
Hyderabad: In a double delight for Telangana, the State has been awarded the SKOCH ‘e-Governance State of the Year’ while IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao bagged the ‘Best Performing IT Minister’ in the country for 2020. This is the second such award given to KTR who already got one in 2016 from the same group.

Under the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project in Telangana, Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) s Gayatri pump house on Wednesday has created a record by pumping out 100 thousand million cubics (TMC) of water from underground. MEIL has created a record by proving its worth since its inception, read the release.
The first mission has lifted the water by working for 1367 hours in order to lift the water. The second of the missions has pumped for about 1703 hours. Every pump house has pumped about 3150 Cusec of water. The Gayatri pump house lifted water to a height of 111.4 meters of 100 TMC water.

Hyderabad: An analysis done by some of the city’s doctors from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences and Gandhi Hospital has found that Vitamin D could battle Covid better.
Vitamin D provided in the right proportions among patients has decreased the inflammatory markers associated with Covid without any side effects, according to the research. The researchers thus say that Vitamin D therapy could be added to the existing treatment rules of Covid for improved results.
