Leaders and activists are protesting about the cancellation of allotment for an exclusive cemetery for Covid victims. The civic body informed Ranga Reddy district authorities that they could not maintain the cemetery. In response, associations and activists have filed a PIL in the HC against cancellation. The cemetery is in Kurmalaguda of Balapur mandal in Serilingampally area.

From January 16 to February 16, 2, 79,518 healthcare and frontline staff have received the first dose. The number of targeted beneficiaries was six lakh. Of them, 53,144 HCWs have got the second dose. 133 cases of AEFI were recorded, including 65 minor and two serious cases, said details given in media bulletins issued by the health department.
