NEW data shows which areas of Warrington have the highest take-up rates of the coronavirus vaccine. Having two doses of the vaccine is scientifically proven to reduce the likelihood of you being hospitalised if you do contract the virus. And while some areas of the town have high vaccine coverage rates, others do not. More than half of areas have first dose coverage in excess of 85 per cent of eligible residents. At the other end of the table however, some areas have less than 70 per cent of residents protected by a vaccine against Covid-19. Vaccine take-up rates are published using NHS England figures via an interactive map on the Government’s online coronavirus dashboard.
