HALF of all residents in Warrington have now received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, latest figures reveal. NHS data shows 85,282 people had received both jabs by May 30, which is the equivalent to 50 per cent of the town’s population aged 16 and over. Since the town’s vaccination programme began in December, a total of 215,568 vaccinations have been completed. This figure includes 130,286 first doses - 76 per cent of Warrington residents aged 16 and above. NHS vaccine data also reveals variation in coverage for residents who have received at least one dose between different areas across Warrington. Appleton has the highest coverage, with 91.5 per cent of the population aged 16 and over having been given their first dose.
