Shares of the world s largest two-wheeler maker - Hero MotoCorp - rose as much as 4.77 per cent to hit an intraday high of Rs 2,920 on the BSE ahead of its March quarter earnings due later in the day. Trading volumes in Hero MotoCorp shares was higher than usual as 50,000 shares changed hands on the BSE compared with an average of 35,000 shares traded daily in the past two weeks, data from the BSE showed.

The two-wheeler major s revenue from operations rose to Rs 9,827.05 crore during the period under review, as compared to Rs 7,074.86 crore in the third quarter of 2019-20, Hero MotoCorp said in a regulatory filing

New Delhi: Hero is on a journey towards premiumisation and the company will look to increase its market share in premium bikes with the latest partnership with Harley said Pawan Munjal, Chairman & CEO, Hero Moto Corp in an interview to ET Now.
“Hero is in a great partnership with Harley going forward. We are moving towards premiumisation of our products. We will continue to add new products in our portfolio. This partnership is a big boost and a big help for Hero. Partnership with Harley will focus on distribution and licensing arrangement to develop, design and manufacture products for Harley” he added.
