Island Police: Impaired driver hits Southwest Harbor Food Mart  Southwest Harbor  Police were asked by the Ellsworth Police Department on March 2 around 5:30 p.m. to help find a missing woman and a vehicle she allegedly took from her roommate. Both were found in town at a residence around midnight and both were fine.   Police were notified around 12:30 p.m. on March 3 of a white Subaru owned by a Southwest Harbor resident coming onto Mount Desert Island that was swerving all over the road. Before reaching town, the vehicle was stopped in Mount Desert.   A trespasser was reported on March 3 around 1:30 p.m. for walking through someone’s yard. According to the report, this is an ongoing issue because the reported trespasser takes the same route home every day.

A woman and boys ages 15 and 16 were taken into custody, the police spokeswoman said.
