Notice of appeal filed in GHA bullying case 12th May 2021 Unite the Union has confirmed a notice of appeal has been filed in the long running bullying at work case filed by a Gibraltar Health Authority employee against their employer. Last month the Supreme Court ruled the employment tribunal was wrong to find that Dr Daniel Cassaglia, the then GHA Medical Director, bullied a hospital pathologist in 2017. On the same day the Union said it would appeal the court s decision. “The legal advice that the union have received is that the judgment in respect of grounds one and two of the appeal by the former Medical Director to the Supreme Court is eminently appealable,” Stuart Davies, National Officer for Unite Gibraltar said.
