WEST CANAAN Progress should be measured in milestones. It took seven seasons, but Stevens High girls basketball coach Ivy Condon claimed a big one on Thursday.
Freshman Kiley Bundy scored 13 points and hit three key free throws in the fourth quarter as Stevens edged Mascoma, 41-35, in an NHIAA Division III preliminary-round tournament win at Kehoe Gymnasium. That gave Condon, the Cardinals’ seventh-year coach, her first postseason victory.
The foul-line effort proved essential for the Cards. The Royals (1-13) held Stevens without a fourth-quarter field goal, requiring a 7-for-13 effort at the charity stripe for Condon’s crew to secure victory.

Lebanon got the early start at 2:45 of the opening period on Hunter Christian’s first goal of the season, which Berlin’s Michael Cote Jr. equalized exactly six minutes later. Aidan Yates had Lebanon on the path to victory, scoring his ninth of the campaign with 4:50 left in regulation, but the Mountaineers’ Carter Poulin struck with 100 seconds on the cl

SALEM, N.H. The Hanover High girls swimming and diving team hasn’t just made winning state championships a habit. It’s getting to be something by which to set a clock.
The Marauders made it four NHIAA Division II titles in a row on Sunday, claiming their latest crown in socially distanced fashion at The Workout Club. Interestingly, Hanover did it without winning a single event in the swim portion of the championship, which was held two days after the diving competition.
