Lodi man charged with felony DWI after one-car crash in Ovid

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 49-year-old following a one-car crash on County Rd. 131 in Ovid.
Frederick Mulford, 49, of Lodi was traveling north on County Rd. 131 in a pickup truck near the intersection of West Wycoff Rd. when he suddenly left the roadway, drove into a ditch, and continued striking a culvert and overturning the vehicle.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s office says a 25-year-old faces a number of charges following a Facebook Marketplace scheme, and that there could be additional victims.
Deputies say on April 29 around 3:15 p.m. they arrested Carol A. Ziglar, 25, of Cortland on an arrest warrant related a scheme to defraud.
Altogether she faces a charge of scheme to defraud and seven counts of petit larceny.
It’s alleged that Ziglar placed advertisements on Facebook Marketplace in an attempt to sell property.

The Waterloo Police Department has provided an update on the structure fire that heavy damaged an auto repair shop on Main St. around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
First responders initially responded for the report of a vehicle fire at Community Car Care in the village of Waterloo. Upon arrival, the bay of the shop was found to be fully-engulfed.
All of the occupants of the building were out and unharmed.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Waterloo man following a domestic incident.
On April 14 around 4 p.m. deputies responded to an address on Waterloo Geneva Rd. for the report of a physical domestic incident.
After investigation deputies arrested Michael Rabczewski, 52, for criminal mischief and harassment.
He’s accused of taking a cell phone from the victim of the incident- preventing them from calling 911.
He was taken into custody without incident and was processed on the charges.
