La obra orquestal del gran compositor ruso, Tchaikovsky

Cuando inicié, muy joven, mi recorrido autónomo por los senderos de la música clásica o académica, solía preguntar a amigos mayores cuáles eran los grandes compositores y los que no. En particular recuerdo que, Eduardo Casanova, no soportaba a Tchaikovsky y yo, en ese entonces sólo conocía de ese gran compositor ruso la obertura 1812. Menos mal que no le hice caso a mi amigo ya que a través del tiempo me he convertido en un amante de ese genial y melancólico autor. Es verdad que las últimas sinfonías, es decir la cuarta, quinta y sexta son las que más me gustan, pero bien vale la pena viajar y escuchar toda su obra orquestal y eso es lo que haré en este recorrido dejando de lado la opera.
