FORT WORTH The PianoTexas International Festival and Academy almost didn’t get to celebrate its 40th anniversary this month. FORT WORTH At Texas Christian University, emerging pianists are taking center stage.
PianoTexas International Festival & Academy, which mixes training programs with performance opportunities, launched its distinguished artists’ series on Tuesday with a recital by Stephen Beus. The concert was held in TCU’s Ed Landreth Hall, instead of the usual PepsiCo Recital Hall, to allow for more social distancing.
