In a tragic incident, eight people killed and many others have been injured when a travels bus plunged into a valley on the Araku Ghat road. The mishap took place on late Friday. According to the reports, the dead bodies of four peole have been retrieved from the valley. Police said that the accident took place due to the mere negligence of the bus driver.
It is said that the bus was going at a speed of 50 to 60 kmph at the time of the accident and the driver was unable to notice the turning point at Dumuku in Ananthagiri mandal on the Araku ghat road. According to the police, the accident took place as the person driving fell asleep at the wheel. The bus was in a proper condition. It is said that the driver was so tired and could not able to control the bus.

When police took Padmaja to a hospital for Covid-19 test, she refused to give her sample shouting that she herself was novel coronavirus in human form and there was no need for tests.

Around 12 passengers of a private bus suffered injuries as the bus had hit the concrete blocks that have been placed on the side of the road. The private bus was travelilng from Visakhapatnam to Bhuvaneshwar and reportedly all the passengers were from Odisha. The incident took place on the early hours of Tuesday. It has been learned that the mishap occurred when all the passengers were asleep.
Going into the details, the bus departed from Vizag on Monday night and it is going on a high speed. Suddenly, at Ichchapuram bypass route, the driver of the vehicle might have dozed off as it is generally the time one tends to feel asleep and the accident happened. Most of the passengers were asleep when the accident happened, hence they don t know the exact reason.
