As we maneuver through the beginning of 2021, a.k.a. “2020: Fury Road,” some things have changed (the president) and others have not (the pandemic, lack of will to change out of pajamas). And while I’m certainly hoping for a better year than last year, as with all the speculation about Kim and Kanye divorcing,
But enough small talk: I’ve got hot takes on some cold pizzas. I’m happy to present to you the irrefutable, infallible and 100% correct
Frozen Pizza Power Rankings. I’ve ranked these using two metrics: taste, of course, as well as cook time the upper recommended limit for conventional oven cooking (a better ranking means a shorter cook time). When you’re sitting there hungry, waiting for that first slice to scorch the roof of your mouth, thus ruining all future slices, every minute counts. Here are the pizzas, from best- to worst-tasting:

The last major chicken sandwich war was in August 2019 after Popeyes launched its New Orleans-style fried chicken sandwich. The chain then started a viral Twitter feud with Chick-fil-A and other restaurants.
Chick-fil-A said its sandwich is the first limited-time entree to be featured on the national menu since summer 2019. The grilled chicken is marinated in a spicy seasoning and served on a toasted multigrain brioche bun with Colby-Jack cheese, lettuce and tomato. A creamy Cilantro Lime Sauce was created specifically for the sandwich, the company said.
Boston Market, known for its rotisserie chicken, says its new spicy, crispy sandwich is served with pickles, ranch dressing on a brioche bun. The Nashville Hot menu also includes a rotisserie chicken meal with the spicy hot sauce and a hot crispy chicken meal.
PITTSFIELD â Luke Marion succinctly summed up what Berkshire restaurant owners are facing as they head into the winter season.
âItâs been hairy out there,â said the owner of Ottoâs Kitchen & Comfort on East Street.
Itâs not hard to see why. While the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a big chunk of income from local restaurant owners this year, the recent surge of the virus in Massachusetts has caused Gov. Charlie Baker to impose restrictions on state eateries that went into effect Dec. 13.
The guidelines include a 90-minute ban on sit-down dining; dropping the maximum number of people allowed at a table from 10 to six; and requiring customers to wear masks at all times, except when they actively are eating or drinking. Also, patrons are being encouraged to dine only with household members, in order to reduce transmission of the coronavirus.
