On the evening of June 1 last year, officers on patrol in Midland Road, Leyton, were flagged down and told a man had been stabbed multiple times in the chest, hands and wrist. The victim was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service, and although he suffered serious injuries, he thankfully survived. Detectives believe the man was stabbed outside a house in Wesley Road, close to the junction with Leigh Road.

The Real Estate company in Melfort provided over $4000 to charities and organizations in the area in their 12 days of Christmas giveaway.
Agent and partner Joline Ozeroff said they were also able to do some random acts of kindness for the RCMP, paramedics, and fire department.
“Coming to the end of the year, we were happy with the success we had and we wanted to share that with as many organizations as we could,” Ozeroff said. “We wanted to say thank you to different people and especially those who put themselves at risk through all of this.”
The holidays are traditionally a busy season for the United States Postal Service, UPS and other package delivery services, even without an ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
With more people holiday shopping online, there s concern that packages might not be delivered on time. But many readers say they ve been happy so far with the timeliness in which their orders are being received.
