Sajjan Jindal Led JSW Steel To Increase Supply Of Liquid Medical Oxygen From Its Plants To 1,000 Tonnes Per Day From Today Sajjan Jindal, CMD of JSW Steel, addresses a press conference in Mumbai. (Mint) India s biggest steelmaker, JSW Steel will ramp up the supply of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) from ist plants in the country to 1,000 tonnes per day from today (30 April) onwards, reports Economic Times. The total supplies of LMO from the Sajjan Jindal led steelmaker s plants for the entire month of April is expected to be over 20,000 tonnes. The company is supplying LMO from its plants in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

Mittal, through his India joint venture company ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel plans to set up a steel plant in the Kendrapara district of Odisha with 12-million-ton capacity, entailing an investment of Rs 50,000 crore.

ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel to set up Rs 50,000 cr integrated unit in Odisha

The Government of Odisha and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Limited signed an MoU today for setting up an integrated steel complex in Kendrapara District of the state for an investment of more than Rs 50,000 crore. ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel is one of the largest steel makers of the world and combines the financial might of the LN Mittal Group including their international presence in the sector and the technological prowess and management strength of Nippon Steel, which is a Japanese company renowned in the world for its high-technology steel products. The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and L N Mittal, Chairman of the Mittal Group. Prafulla Mallik, Minister Steel & Mines and Works and Atanu Sabyasachi Naik, MLA, Mahakalpara were also present.
