CARTHAGE, Texas (KLTV) - Carthage native Tilden Hooper won the bareback riding competition at RFD TVâs The American Rodeo in Arlington this weekend.
Hooper, who attended Carthage High School, earned 90.50 points by riding a bronco called Gunfire.
The Carthage nativeâs winnings for the rodeo totaled $100,000.
The American Rodeo, which was sponsored by Durango Boots, was held at AT&T Stadium Saturday and Sunday.
