Hooper, who attended Carthage High School, earned 90.50 points by riding a bronco called Gunfire. The Carthage native’s winnings for the rodeo totaled $100,000. The American Rodeo, which was sponsored by Durango Boots, was held at AT&T Stadium Saturday and Sunday.
