Following on from the successful development approval for the Ryde Civic Centre transformation, the
project enters the next significant stage with d emolition works to commence on 1 March 2021.
The demolition works will continue through to July 2021, weather permitting and will include the demolition
of the seven -storey Civic Centre and one -storey Community Hall.
A number of significant items from the old Civic Centre such as signage, coat of arms and a mosaic floor
design will be incorporated into the new development where possible.

It took Keith Ransom 62 seconds to become a district champion. And the Mexico 126-pounder didn’t really need that much of the clock.
The top seed in his weight at Saturday’s Class 2 District 4 tournament at The Sports Complex in Mexico, Ransom received a bye into the title round. He quickly scored takedown points against Fulton’s Kaden Barnes, and then added more to go up 6-0. Only then did he turn his attention to pinning his opponent.

Sky Wars from the creators of the original Pyromania will hold its 16
th annual invitational fireworks championship on Saturday, Sept. 25. Gates open at 2 p.m., and the fireworks show begins at 7:30 p.m. The event is in partnership with the developers of Innsbrook and will be held at The Village of Innsbrook Fireworks Field located at 13604 State Highway M in Wright City, Missouri.
Sky Wars, which is presented by the nonprofit Missouri Pyrotechnics Association, is the nation’s largest fireworks competition and one of the only pyrotechnic competitions in the U.S.
The more than two-hour long fireworks championship will feature invitation-only pyrotechnicians who are among the nation’s top fireworks choreographers.
