Pewaukee s Western Lakes Golf Club had just opened, in April 1988, but was considered a potential site by the committee. Another nearby site under consideration was Pabst Farms in Oconomowoc.
August Pabst, the owner of Pabst Farms, was dubious the Brewers would play nearly 40 miles from Milwaukee.
Oak Creek hit-and-run crash; 40-year-old West Allis man charged

OAK CREEK, Wis. - A 40-year-old West Allis man faces multiple charges following a crash in Oak Creek last weekend. The accused is Ricardo Huerta-Dominguez – and he faces the following criminal counts:
Hit and run - great bodily harm
Injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle (great bodily harm)
According to the criminal complaint, Oak Creek officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash near 13th and Ryan Road on Sunday, May 2. They were told one of the vehicles had fled the scene.
A woman in a vehicle that was apparently struck indicated to officers she was driving westbound on Ryan Road and that she had a green light. The complaint says as she drove through the intersection, she was suddenly hit by another vehicle. The woman suffered multiple injuries in the crash.
