KILMARNOCK Although the Virginia Democratic Primary Election date is June 8, the voting process will begin Friday.
“Recent changes in Virginia election laws allow you to vote before the June 8 Democratic Primary Election in person without a reason or application,” said Robert Bennett, chairman of the Lancaster County Democratic Committee.
In Lancaster, early in-person voting will take place at the Voter Registration Office in the County Administration Building, 8311 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster, April 23 through June 5 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, as well as Saturdays, May 29 and June 5. Those who prefer to vote curbside may call 462-5277 from the parking lot.
