Ben Padarath said the applications were lodged with police, the Suva City Council and the Fiji Roads Authority. The move for a vocal protest against the proposed Bill is supported by Social Democratic Liberal Party member and Parliament Whip Lynda Tabuya. Yesterday, Ms Tabuya said SODELPA would be gathering signatures for a petition which will be later presented to Parliament. “This is in line with the Speaker of Parliament’s directive that he will not consider signatures of petitions lodged online, but those collected manually,” said Ms Tabuya.
