The big one is on the Draft Police Bill 2020.
A shocking revelation in Levuka that quite a number of people’s knowledge of the draft Police Bill 2020 was derived from what they read in The Fiji Times.
This came to light at the inaugural face-to-face consultation on the proposed legislation in the Old Capital where participants expressed concern about how little they knew about the contents of the proposed Bill.

Many people who attended the first face-to-face public consultation on the draft Police Bill 2020 said they learnt of the contents of the proposed legislation in articles which appeared in The Fiji Times.
