CINCINNATI The Bengals have made multiple additions to their offensive line this offseason.
They signed veteran offensive tackle Riley Reiff and selected three linemen in the 2021 NFL Draft, including second round pick Jackson Carman.
Despite the additions, Cincinnati should make a push for Washington veteran Morgan Moses, who was given the permission by the organization to seek a trade.
The 30-year-old earned an 80.8 overall grade from Pro Football Focus in 2020. He was their sixth-highest-graded right tackle in 2020.
He s started 96 consecutive games since 2015, which says a lot about his durability and his ability to play through injuries.
Moses primarily plays right tackle, but also has some experience on the left side. He s only scheduled to make $7.5 million this season, but Washington added multiple players to their offensive line this offseason, which is why they re going to part ways with the veteran.
Washington likely moving on from starting OT Morgan Moses Published: May 18, 2021 at 03:09 PM
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that the club is likely moving on from longtime starting tackle Morgan Moses, giving him the ability to seek a trade, per sources informed of the situation.
Moses is due $7.75 million in 2021, the full sum of which would travel with him in any trade. Washington would clear that from the salary cap with $1.9 million in dead money by moving on. The starting tackle is under contract in 2022 for an additional $7.75 million.
Washington could release the offensive tackle if it can t find a trade partner, per Rapoport.
• Who needs coffee when THIS exists:
This has me way more hype than it should. Or… does it?? ⬇️ pic.twitter.com/cEPeTETAdM
• OK, I still need coffee. Nevertheless, this rookie class has meeting the positive vibes. It obviously starts at quarterback. But Teven Jenkins is already coming off as someone who is balancing a fun personality behind a mic with having a mean streak on the field. Dazz Newsome seems playful, intriguing, and curious about what his future holds. Khalil Herbert, Thomas Graham Jr., and Larry Borom are motivated late-round picks who have something about them that should pique your interest. Even Khyiris Tonga’s climb from BYU to the NFL makes him a fun seventh-rounder to follow. In other words, bring on all the hype videos featuring all the rookies.

The race to the weekend is half-way over..or half-way started, depending on your perspective
Merry Wednesday, everyone!
Alright, we’re half-way through the week. This week is flying by much more quickly than last week, it felt like last week lasted a month. The weather is beautiful up here this week when we’re cooped up in the office, and of course it’s supposed to get cloudy and cooler over the weekend. Oh well, that’s good camping weather. Kiddo and I plan to spend the weekend camping, we’re thinking of putting our camping gear in the boat and finding a spot way off the beaten path to camp. Only problem is, it’s dryer than a popcorn fart up here, so we won’t be starting a campfire, and I LOVE campfires, but I’ll survive. A bad day fishing or camping is still better than a good day doing anything else.
