A look into Denver s $400 million bond proposal | Government

Denver voters may soon choose whether to let the city take out a $400 million bond to fund numerous infrastructure projects as part of a long-term COVID-19 recovery plan. The city announced the proposed general obligation (GO) bond in April and the Denver City Council is set to begin voting on the proposal later this month. If approved by council and the mayor, voters will see the bond on the ballot in November. The proposed bond is one of Denver’s many COVID-19 relief efforts. The Department of Finance says there is still $375 million left from the city’s last general obligation bond Elevate Denver which passed in 2017.

We learned Sunday, a man, woman and little girl were in that vehicle. They had everything blocked and taped off, said Robert Jemison who lives on Jonlee Drive. According to NOPD, someone called police around 6 p.m. when they noticed the car in the canal. It was pulled past Gannon Road where Morrison Road ends.

Early Thursday, a man was stabbed near 20th and Broadway and hospitalized with what police called serious injuries. Additionally, a person was shot in the 10700 block of E. Dartmouth Ave. and was taken to a hospital. Denver police have not said anyone has been arrested in either case.

Optum, American Health Network to build $6 8M medical offices in Muncie

View Comments MUNCIE, Ind.   Optum, a multi-state healthcare company that includes longtime local provider American Health Network along with the Delaware County Commissioners announced a new multi-million dollar development in northwest Muncie on Tuesday. Optum plans on building new medical offices to expand services adjacent to the current American Health Network offices along Morrison Road. The first phase of the development is a 25,000-square-foot facility with the ability to expand in the future. Muncie Investors LLC will own the facility, in turn leasing space to Optum and a subsidiary. A press release from East Central Indiana Regional Planning District said that the investment equals about $6.8 million.
