DAMIEN PAINTIN, 31, of Saunders Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to possession of kitchen knives at Iffley Turn on April 6, 2021. He was fined £160 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge. DARREN RANCE, 39, of Ruscote Avenue, Banbury, admitted driving a Range Rover on the A4095 near Chesterton, without a licence or insurance. He was given eight penalty points, fined £1,476 and ordered to pay £85 in costs.
24-year-old man shot to death on sidewalk in east Oak Cliff, police say
Witnesses told police that a man shot the victim, identified as Robert Lynn Taylor, multiple times.
A 24-year-old man was shot to death early Wednesday in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 3:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Strickland Street, near Morrell Avenue and South Denley Drive. Witnesses told police that a man shot the victim, identified as Robert Lynn Taylor, multiple times.
Taylor was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The suspect, a 37-year-old man whose name will not be released until he is booked into the Dallas County Jail, was arrested at the scene and faces a murder charge, police said.
