Clearfield County Jail COVID-19 Cases 6:51 pm
According to David Kessling, Warden for the Clearfield County Jail, the jail has been on lockdown since the start of the pandemic.
“We don’t have visitation going on right now. We are restricting inmates to their housing units,” he said.
Towards the end of last year, Kessling said they set more restrictions because of outbreaks in neighboring counties.
He said they’ve sparingly released inmates early on a case by case basis depending upon the charges and health of the individual.
He also said all inmates coming into the facility are isolated and tested. Those who test positive, isolate for 14 days.
