Trespassing investigated BOGGS TOWNSHIP State police at Rockview investigated a case of simple trespass that took place around 8:47 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2020. According to police, a 36-year-old female from Julian was staying inside a building without persmission. The building is owned by a 59-year-old Milesburg man. The woman was arrested for criminal trespass. The investigation is still ongoing, police said. Drug possession BELLEFONTE A case of drug possession was investigated by state police at Rockview on Jan. 21. According to police, Brian Osterhout, 35, of Tyrone, was in possession of drugs while in custody at the Centre County Correctional Facility. The incident was reported at 4:48 p.m., police said.

CENTRE HALL A case of theft was investigated by state police at Rockview. According to police, a license plate attached to a trailer was stolen sometime between Dec. 30, 2020 and Jan. 21, 2021 from a private residence at 648 N. Pennsylvania Ave. The plate belongs to Daniel Hawk, 65, of Centre Hall. It has no monetary value, police said. The trailer had been to Snow Show Rails to Trails and Waterville, Pa., during the aforementioned dates. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact state police at Rockview. DUI crash COLLEGE TOWNSHIP A single-vehicle crash was investigated by state police at Rockview around 11:11 a.m. on Dec. 10.

Gate stolen BELLEFONTE State police at Rockview investigated a case of theft that took place around 8 p.m. on Jan. 11 along Shawver Lane in Benner Township, Centre County. According to police, a 36-year-old Bellefonte man had 12-foot long gate stolen from his property. The gate was dark blue in color. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact state police at Rockview and reference incident number PA21-50788. Car stolen JULIAN State police at Rockview investigated a theft of an automobile from a car dealership that took place around 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 27. Acccording to police, a 2010 Volkswagen CC sedan was stolen from C&A Auto Sales, located at 4725 South Eagle Valley Road in Julian. The vehicle is black and has tinted windows.

Two-vehicle crash JERSEY SHORE State police at Lamar investigated a one-vehicle crash that took place at 7:24 a.m. on Jan. 16. According to police, a 2018 Ford Escape being driven by Joyce Spring, 56, of Loganton was traveling North on state Route 880. She was slowing down for traffic control and slid across the travel lanes when she applied the brakes. The Escape crashed into a 1999 Ford Explorer being driven by Amelia Smith, 19, of Loganton. There were no injuries in the crash, police said. One-vehicle crash MILL HALL A one-vehicle crash was investigated by state police at Lamar on Jan. 16. According to police, a 2007 Chevrolet Impala being driven by John Mayes, 39, of Lock Haven was exiting state Route 220 onto Mill Hall Road. As Mayes was traveling across a bridge, he lost control of the vehicle due to black ice.

Sexual assault BELLEFONTE A 57-year-old Bellefonte man was sexually assaulted on Nov. 11, 2020 at SCI Benner along Institution Drive, Benner Township, Centre County, state police at Rockview said. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said. Drug possession CENTRE HALL Joshua Rearick, 36, of Port Matilda, was found in possession of brass knuckles and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at the intersection of South Pennsylvania Avenue and Penns Valley Pike, Potter Township, Centre County on Jan. 14, state police at Rockview said.
