A man accused of firing 29 bullets throughout a Hillsdale apartment complex during an altercation with a neighbor on June 29 has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, among 24 other charges.
Luke Stolarzyk, 32, now faces an attempted murder charge, in addition to charges for reckless endangerment, unlawful use of a weapon, criminal mischief and attempt to commit a felony, after he allegedly chased a neighbor around and fired off several rounds with an AR-15 rifle in and around the Stephens Creek Crossing apartments in Southwest Portland during the early morning hours of June 29.

Stephens Creek Crossing residents say they fear shooter s release after rampage that damaged homes, cars. People could ve died, a man said, seated among nearly 50 neighbors outside the Stephens Creek Crossing apartments in Southwest Portland.
Another neighbor conveyed palpable fear and unease following a shooting two days prior that shook residents.
Stephens Creek residents gathered Thursday, July 1, for a community meeting with the apartment complex s management company, along with a Portland police officer. The community meeting followed a shooting early Tuesday, June 29, in which a man in a neighboring apartment building fired 29 bullets throughout the Stephens Creek complex following an altercation. No injuries were reported, but several homes and vehicles were struck.
Alleged hit-and-run driver faces 31-count indictment, accused of killing 1, injuring 7 others in SE Portland rampage

A Multnomah County grand jury returned a 31-count indictment Wednesday against a man accused of striking and killing one woman and injuring seven other people in a wild, 15-block rampage in his Honda Element last week in Southeast Portland.
The indictment charges Paul Rivas with second-degree murder and failure to perform the duties of a driver in the killing of Jean Gerich, 77, a pedestrian who was hit twice and then dragged for a block.
She died about three hours later from blunt force trauma at OHSU Hospital, according to her son and daughter.
