Joe Dean Cash More from Author March 7, 2021 Joe Dean Cash, 87 years old, received a terminal diagnosis on Tuesday and spent the next two days at home surrounded by family, laughing and loving, before passing away on Jan. 22. Joe was born on Aug. 25, 1933 in Logan, to Dean and Juanita Cash. He was the first of three children. He married Carol Greenig on June 20, 1958 in the Los Angeles Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Joe grew up in Utah and California and learned the value of hard work at a young age. He met Carol Greenig after completing his service in the Army during the Korean War with his primary deployment in Panama. Joe and Carol raised their family in Lakewood, CA. Joe retired early from General Telephone Electric where he began as a lineman and completed his career managing a telecommunications center.
