San Mateo now requires everyone regardless of vaccination status to wear face coverings inside county buildings, KTVU s Jesse Gary reports.
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - On Monday, one change in San Mateo County prompted another. At around 8 a.m., a county employee used adhesive to put up temporary signs informing that public face coverings are now required to enter all county buildings.
The move clears confusion as the old signs said face coverings were optional. Hashtag fail. So we need to improve on that, said David Canepa, President of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.

New California Dept. of Public Health regulations allow those establishments to reopen – and they don’t have to serve food to do so.
