It is alleged the charged man struck the victim with a metal pole to the head, causing the victim to fall to the ground unconscious. The victim was conveyed by ambulance to the Peel Health Campus and later transferred to Royal Perth Hospital for surgery of a skull fracture.

About 9:30pm the occupants of a residence in Acacia Close went to investigate noises in the patio area at the rear of their residence. They were confronted by a man rummaging through an outside fridge. After initially being chased off, the man returned to the rear patio area and it will be alleged he assaulted the two residents. It will be alleged the female resident, who is aged in her 60s, was punched to the face, while the male resident, who is also aged in his 60s, had part of one of his fingers bitten off.
