Mandurah assault arrest Mandurah Detectives have charged a 22-year-old man after it is alleged he assaulted a man in Mandurah on Friday 9 July 2021.
It is alleged around 12.40am, the victim (22) was with a friend on the Mandurah Foreshore on Mandurah Terrace when he was approached by the charged man who is known to him.
It is alleged the charged man struck the victim with a metal pole to the head, causing the victim to fall to the ground unconscious.
The victim was conveyed by ambulance to the Peel Health Campus and later transferred to Royal Perth Hospital for surgery of a skull fracture.

Overseas drug king pins are fuming at âbungling bikiesâ after a significant chunk of their Australian revenue has been seized by West Australian detectives in recent months, according to Deputy Police Commissioner Col Blanch.
Serious and organised crime detectivesâ drug squad has stopped five trucks over the past two months thanks to interstate intelligence, resulting in what they claim is âthe largest seizure ever in Australiaâ of $13 million in cash, as well as more than 210 kilograms of drugs that included smaller amounts of cocaine and heroin.

More than 175kg of meth and $8 million in cash have been seized by WA Police in a sting targeting interstate drug smuggling.
The bust includes a truck and two vans stopped in quick succession on a highway south of Perth last week.
Drug and firearm squad detectives allegedly seized almost $4.5 million in cash in a truck in Fairbridge.

The wife of a man who had part of his finger bitten off by an alleged burglar in Bouvard has recounted the terrifying moment the pair feared for their lives as they fended off the intruder.
Carol Ballack, 68, said the alleged attacker fought back with such force it took three neighbours and herself to restrain him until police arrived.

Bouvard Trespass and Assault Charges
Mandurah Detectives have charged a man in relation to a trespass incident in Bouvard last night, Monday 28 December 2020, during which two residents were assaulted.
About 9:30pm the occupants of a residence in Acacia Close went to investigate noises in the patio area at the rear of their residence. They were confronted by a man rummaging through an outside fridge. After initially being chased off, the man returned to the rear patio area and it will be alleged he assaulted the two residents.
It will be alleged the female resident, who is aged in her 60s, was punched to the face, while the male resident, who is also aged in his 60s, had part of one of his fingers bitten off.
