Hames Sharley’s work to refurbish the Peel Health Campus has reached completion, which will enhance the overall experience of the patients within the Mandurah Health Centre.
The project involved staged redevelopment works to the emergency department and short-stay admission ward, as well as the server room. The works were carried out while both areas were kept operational. A scaffold was set up over the top of the building, with a hoist for material to minimise disruption to the hospital’s operations. Devlyn Construction was hired to carry out the refurbishment due to their extensive medical construction portfolio.

Mandurah assault arrest Mandurah Detectives have charged a 22-year-old man after it is alleged he assaulted a man in Mandurah on Friday 9 July 2021.
It is alleged around 12.40am, the victim (22) was with a friend on the Mandurah Foreshore on Mandurah Terrace when he was approached by the charged man who is known to him.
It is alleged the charged man struck the victim with a metal pole to the head, causing the victim to fall to the ground unconscious.
The victim was conveyed by ambulance to the Peel Health Campus and later transferred to Royal Perth Hospital for surgery of a skull fracture.
Jade and Jeremy, from WA, took their nine-month-old son Reid to Rockingham Hospital to undergo an ultrasound, but the couple claims they were turned away.
