Dean died at the age of 31 in a Houston hospital from complications due to COVID-19.  A funeral procession, led by the San Marcos Fire Department Honor Guard and a pipes and drums corp, made its way to Seguin High School’s Performing Arts Center where family and friends celebrated Dean’s life and his legacy.  Pallbearers carry the casket of Seguin Firefighter/Paramedic Roger Dean into the Seguin High School’s Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Dean passed away on Friday, April 23 due to COVID-19.
