Manchester-headquartered commercial law firm DWF has expanded its global reach after signing exclusive deals with counterparts in Singapore and South Africa.
History was brought to life as a Viking journeyed to Bolton School this week. The invader set up camp in the junior girls section with pupils keen to learn more about the Viking way of life. He showcased a variety of artefacts including his iron and wooden cooking pots as well as the sword and shield as well maps of the Viking word. The visitor regaled the pupils with stories about what life was like for Vikings and Anglo-Saxons, explaining the different way that they engineered their ships which allowed them to move around the world much quicker than anyone had previously thought possible.

Greater Manchester-based MusicMagpie has completed its float on the London Stock Exchange s AIM market in a move which has valued the business at more than £200m.
