SCOUT Egan Moore has proved he will always do his best no matter what he is facing. The Year Five Bolton School pupil worked tirelessly during the first lockdown to get his badges despite the fact Bolton (Bolton School) Scout Group wasn t able to meet in person. There were instead Zoom sessions and even a virtual camp. For his efforts, Egan was awarded the LHP James Cup for outstanding individual Cub Scout Achievement. Egan was nominated to receive the cup by his cub leaders. Headteacher Susan Faulkner said: This is a fantastic achievement as it is quite unusual for a Cub to gain all his activity badges. Well done Egan. I know many boys are very excited for the Pack to get going again with face to face activities really soon.
