Southampton man threatened to kill people in Facebook live clip

Lee Gough appeared at Southampton Crown Court on July 29, 2021 A SOUTHAMPTON man “flipped” and stole his boss’s car before threatening to kill people in a social media video. Lee Christopher Gough posted the clip of himself on Facebook wielding a knife in his hand. The 35-year-old said he was going to kill unnamed people and that he was driving a stolen vehicle. Prosecution barrister, Christopher Pix, told Southampton Crown Court that Gough, of Northam Road, drove from Ringwood to Southampton where he intended to drive off a pier. The defendant had been drinking in pubs in the New Forest town with his boss and watching the England vs Croatia game on June 13 this year.

Vehicles broken into in Millbrook and Redbridge

Police in Southampton have issued a warning to drivers following a number of vehicle break-ins.  Shirley Police posted on Twitter this afternoon that a number of vehicles in the Millbrook and Redbridge areas of the city has been broken into, and items such as bank cards had been stolen. The post added: Please, please, don t leave property in your cars or at the very least on display for all to see.
