Lee Gough appeared at Southampton Crown Court on July 29, 2021
A SOUTHAMPTON man “flipped” and stole his boss’s car before threatening to kill people in a social media video.
Lee Christopher Gough posted the clip of himself on Facebook wielding a knife in his hand.
The 35-year-old said he was going to kill unnamed people and that he was driving a stolen vehicle.
Prosecution barrister, Christopher Pix, told Southampton Crown Court that Gough, of Northam Road, drove from Ringwood to Southampton where he intended to drive off a pier.
The defendant had been drinking in pubs in the New Forest town with his boss and watching the England vs Croatia game on June 13 this year.
